What kind of gear do you give the animate guardian besides the Kingmaker?
Found a video which mentioned:
Helmet: Helmet with Increased Max Life & Nearby enemies have reduced armor (Pristine+Jagged)
Body Armour: Gruthkul's Pelt (5% life regen - about 170c)
-maybe overkill if Belly of the beast is enough to not make it die.
Gloves: Southbound Soldier Gloves
Boots: Boots with Increased Max Life, Regen (Pristine)
I guess my question is, which gear is necessary for the guardian not to die?
Dying Breath / Kingmaker + Leer Cast + Victario's Flight + Ambu's Charge / Belly of the Beast + Southbound / Vulnerability on Hit gloves
ALSO, you might want to consider boots with 2% regen on hit enchant + MS

I wasn't taking into consideration that I will have the +30% all res from bone armor up at all times.
Bought a bunch of gear to get 109 all res without it..
Did I goof hard?

everybody does, no worry, just look for more useful stat to replace (like minion damage on rings -- often overlooked), or freeze/chill protect on boots (also often overlooked). OR sytg vice w/ useful gem; I still have my belt (stats like chest) so I haven't gone vice yet :p

Very nice build indeed!
Struggled with the level 5 awakened sirus fight befor switching to this, now it was a walk in the park!
I have like 20 exalts to spend right now, what should I do next?
Would level 4 empower be helpful? And if yes what do I take out for it?
Character in question is "EisgaMorph"

Ahn's Heritage gives you +100 life, +1400 armour, +29% chance to block, and then +3% to all max res and the possibility to Shield Charge for ultimate mobility in open maps, linked to Fortify for 20% less dmg taken. With it you can equip a great chest piece with 1000-1600 armour, 110+ life, 10% max life, +1 skellies, plenty of res... for like 10c plus fusings.
You are trading all that for a not so great chest piece with only 50 life, a bit of mana and attributes, crappy armour and no res at all. All of the value of your chest is coming for the 6L and the corrupted implicit, which you can both get on any chest piece. So overall you're losing like 2.5 armour, 160+ life, 10% max life, 1 skelly, a truckload of res, 29% block chance, Shield Charge for a wand (+2 skill gems, minion dmg/atkspd).
If you really want the roughly +30% dps from having a second wand I'd say ignore the +3% max res and go with a much stronger chest than this. If you want to be defensive forgo the second wand and get a great chest + Ahn's.
The only small advantage of the +3% max res through Loreweave instead of Ahn's is that Loreweave fixates the max res to 78% even if you get a map modifier giving you -x% max res. This mod gets ignored.
Thank you sir, for your kind advice! I'm still really new to this, and I've been experimenting with gear. Most of the time I make silly changes like these and it's great to know where they fall short.
I dropped the CWDT + (Spirit Offering, Enfeeble) in order to try it with Shield Charge + Fortify + Faster Attacks, and it really speeds things up. I guess running even more damage on skeletons is really unnecessary with them being this strong already, so the added mobility is great!
I'm thinking the next move would be to get a Vulnerability-on-hit modded gloves to work with the Shield Charge? What do you think?
Also, in terms of jewels, I've got:
3 x To Dust
1 x Glorious Vanity
1 abyss for Hinder (with Corrupted Blood immunity)
1 abyss for Taunt
Do you think there's room for improvement?
Again, thanks for the guidance :D

Hello,
I played this build on Softcore SSF, and it was quite amazing.
Now I am planning to play it on HC, and I'd love to know what kind of changes would you take for serious survivability? Should I take immortal call? Anything different? Is this even as viable for HC as other builds?
Thanks for your time

Is there something wrong with this description?, because I bought 4 linked helmet ( white)
Next it says
"When you find your helm, use an orb of transmutation on it if it isn't already magic. Then grab that life flask of animation we made in act 2, and sell it, the helmet and an orb of alteration to the vendor. If done correctly, this will give you back the helm with a +1 to minion gems mod on it."
So yes I used orb of transmutation on helmet and he became YELLOW sockets are B-B-B-R (looking at the top hole blue then to the right blue then down blue and left red....should that be opposite maybe ?? starting from the bottom? bottom left blue then right blue then up blue and left red? I'm confused here) and when i put that helmet and that flask from act II along with orb of alteration vendor want to pay me for that 4 scrolls of wisdom and 6 alteration shards ....no helm with a +1 to minion gems mod on it. So whats wrong here? are you sure those gem links have to be B-B-B-R??? because when I look on your gear i see R-R-B-B and i just started this game I dont have tons of chromatic orbs to experiment with that I have only 4 orbs so I'm stuck because of that.
Welcome to POE, you sound like a new player :)
The order of the socket colours doesn't matter, as long as you have the right colour combination (3B and 1R or 2B 2R depending on what support gems you want to use). From what I can tell, odds are you used a Silver coin with Navali and got the 'Golden Touch' prophecy that changes how your next Orb of Transmutation's behaviour - instead of making your item magic it makes it a 3 mod rare.

I was coming here to help you with this too. As the above person said you made the helmet rare (yellow) probably via a prophecy and the recipe calls for a magic (blue) item. Just use an orb of scouring on the helmet it will become normal (white) again. Then use an orb of transmutation to make it magic (blue) then vendor it with the flask and orb of alteration and you should get the +1 minion helm.
Hope this helps.

Switching to a +1/+1 wand and using ahn's heritage shield, also an armor only chest (easy to color using 3 blue or 2 blue 1 green if you do impale as the other 3 are red). Then changing tree up a tad (check my profile) for more life on tree and dropping some minion dmg nodes / MoM.
A few of us have been experimenting and from my experience, it's far far FAR more tanky. DPS is still higher too with the impale setup. Using pride and impale I get plenty of dmg.
Survival i'm 8k hp, 56% phys reduction, 80/79/79/78 (chaos) res and 29% block. I use a perfect rumi's to bump that to 49% and a taste of hate for more phys reduction. Also the phys as cold dmg part of taste adds even more defense then listed due to 79% cold reduction.
When I ran the MoM version I would get 2 hit all the time in T15+s. Now it's more like 4-5 hit so tons more breathing room to gtfo.
Others have also used the timeless jewel for ES based on life for another 2k ES. You could very easily still take MoM and not reserve Pride and only use impale with generosity as it reserves so little mana. With the jewel, MoM still and different pathing you can get all I listed above while also getting 10-14k ehp. You skeles will still do plenty of dmg for all content. I feel this is too much survival but I don't play hardcore so I can't comment. Others have also dropped flesh offering for the more defensive ones. You could do the ES offering if you take the ES timeless jewel, or if you go pure life no MoM like me but use Ahn's then Bone Offering will give you even more block with rumi's and prob make you far tankier as well. I haven't tried that yet as I haven't felt the need. On HC though I could see using Bone.
I can say with just the pure life switch and what I posted above, when I have rumi's and taste up, I stand in the middle of metamorph's on T16s, fully sextanted, alch, vaal'd with zana mod and scarab etc and haven't died in like 200 maps.
