3.2.0b Patch Notes
Half the community said no to these nets yet you implement them anyhow while the other half couldn't even agree on how rare they should be. What was the point of the poll?

Can we please get the ability to mute the net drop noise or have it controlled by item filters?

The point was they were going to do it anyway but after reading reddit and believing what they read there (as usual) they thought everyone would vote yes.
When half voted no, they went with reddit because if it's on reddit it must be true. The rest of the world laughs at reddit but GGG makes business decisions based on what reddit says. NO ONE is such a good writer that they could make someone believe this shit. Censored.

What were the results of the poll they did on these Necromancer Nets?

Don't know if developers will read this but just wanted to show my sight of the league.
There is almost a week of the league and I was checking every suggestion post on subreddit. I think we made it to the point everyone must admit that the entire net mechanic was poorly designed since the beginning. Subjective reason: players got bored/tired/frustrated by the mechanic playing less than ONE WEEK Objective reason: 1. You must have a net in your inventory. 2. You must have a net selected (from inventory). 3. You must not kill a beast before using a net (never had this problem but huge amount of people did). 4. You must point the right target in the middle of the rest of creatures. 5. You must not die during the long animation of the net (middle of the fight, remember). 6. You must not kill the beast during the animation. 7. You must kill it after netting, if not prepare to run away due to cd on enraged beast and repeat from step 3. None of the steps above seems to be fun, enjoyable or challenging in a fun way, and remember, 1 week of the league. Now, how I see the entire bestiary thing work. No nets. Find a rare beast, kill it, get the normal loot drop from it and "the spirit of that beast" (essence, soul, whatever you can imagine) that can be used to fight more powerful version of the beast to get it captured on second kill (As Einhar converts it in some form of blood orb anyway). From my point of view that would resolve the gameplay problem. I haven't wrote a thing about rewards and UI of bestiary because I think and hope that is way easier to do and will be done in near future, just like the beast not appearing in some locations, thing that they already announced to be fixed. For those of you saying things like "half the community said no to the necro nets and you went and added them anyway", the truth is that half the community didn't say no to them, which if half had actually said no, they wouldn't have added them. They set conditions on what they would do and followed them exactly as said.

"Added "Necromancy Nets", a relatively rare net that can revive beasts, capturing them in the process. This is useful for characters that have difficulty capturing beasts before they die, but its rarity means that it can't be relied upon as the sole method of capture for these characters."
