If you ever expect culling strike to be usable, it has to be that this is in the game and offered at a common rate.

That's really all there is. To compensate players capturing live beasts, make it more rewarding somehow (10% rarer items dropped for using live catching?).

The game at its core functions requires being able to capture dead beasts in order for this concept to work.
Yes, but more rare.

Tbh i'd prefer to see stunned rare/unique beasts for some seconds when their hp reach zero before they die for time to use net. Often I cant choice between throwing net and continuing combat and therefore lose whole fight. Imho for many ranger/summoner builds it's seem even more crucial.
What does Culling Strike do to a trapped beast? Kill it? Nothing? Reduce it to 1 Life?

A valid point, could be: put the nets for dead beasts in the game, those who like the idea buy them from Einor, those who dont stick to the old mechanic its win/win :D

There's no difference between this and adding them for everyone. Sure you could ignore them and disadvantage yourself. But why would you? Just to make a point? Bragging rights?

Like it or not, any game designed around trade and economy IS a competitive game. Therefore controversial design choices (any trivializing mechanic, for example) does have an impact upon the entire playerbase. Even SSF players.
Wash your hands, Exile!
I haven't started playing still thinking about what i want to use but im already seeing problems.

im playing on 200+ ping and have lag spikes from time to time this will make capturing thing rely hard.

I see no problem implementing the necro net since i dont see whats wrong with it, it helps players with builds that have an hard time due to their build or lag and if you rely think its against the spirit of the league then just sell the nets or dont use them.

alternatively just give an slight penalty to nekro nets

an example. beast untradeable less loot or loses something at random from lv's to abilities.

Drop compensation for capturing beasts alive sounds nice, but I've to say I really don't want capturing dead beasts implemented.

How could that solution even be found, seriously. I mean what in the world would capturing a dead beast even mean? Like Einhar is a kind of warlock or something and he can revive beasts without them becoming undead? Like for real think about that. If you can't capture beasts as they are, then you are not a good hunter, end. Should have thought about whether or not you were interested in it before planning your character.
NO, I guess everyone knows that our ancestors are great beastmasters, they gain control of them by fighting to the very end, and not killing them in the meantime. That being said, the idea of someone able to capture DEAD stuffs is just dumb. And if they're added into the game, make it cost at least one ex each for whatever it takes to revive dead stuffs.
They really needed a choice "Doesn't matter... the league still wont work for me."
