No, if u cant catch single creature then change ur lame build
My build kills too fast, kills off screen and shatters every corpse.. so it's easier to avoid the league mechanic all together.

While I do enjoy the idea of the league, attempting to participate in it has been an annoying experience, solely because of the trapping process.
i think thrown net at them damage them when hp drop to 0 they didn't die but weaken
then einhar drag to the Menagerie

sorry for my bad english
Voted yes (higher rarity)

The current mechanics are awful. I'm playing Cyclone and you cannot throw a net for some time after finishing a cyclone (seems a few tenths of a second). And once I stop moving to try to throw one I'm in danger, no longer gaining HP or stun immune.

The solution to the poor league design I want to see is instant net throwing that can be done during other actions, but even 5% of the nets in circulation being usable after the fact would address this.

Edit to add: Herald of Ice causes lots of issues with the current system too.

I am so glad I'm not you guys.
Beast capture is a real good idea but I have a hard time to catch them before my zombies or other pets put them in pieces...
So either let me get them from the corpse or let me disable zombie for killing everything for a short while.

Please also be advice that the steam update show 5 league starter builds 1 is a summoner build and one a totem build that , as for now, is really not appropriate for this league ...
I vote No.

If anything just give em more HP.
If you keep the net theme, then definitely NO. The whole challenge is getting them live.

That being said, I am _avoiding_ high clear speed or off screening (minions, totems, DoT, etc) just to play the league and not get angry. So I can imagine how horrible it must be for most other people.

Would be really nice if you could just make the special yellow/red mobs invincible at 1 HP so you can then net them right before they die. If you don't, they regen and enrage. Problem [mostly] solved. Then super fast clear speed or minion builds or degen builds can net the creature easily or just leave it be. Not sure how to deal with champions and other things ... don't know the recipes that well yet.
Capturing a dead beast is pretty silly in itself and beats the purpose of the whole thing. It may be a really casual thing to say but i would be more down to some auto capturing mechanic you would gem it or something... or even an aoe net that captures the highest rarity mob in its aoe. The base idea of the league is pretty fun but im still saying the whole capturing mechanic is not going well with the games usual pace(ofc depending on how u play) but that aside there are plenty of cases where the screen is just so filled with chaos that targeting 1 enemy at a specific health WHILE staying alive is pretty much impossible.

Change the whole thing! Make "nets" be a "curse" that marks enemies in a circle, if marked enemies die, they get captured.

No more trying to click 1 enemy to net them
No more worrying about accidentally killing stuff

Allows for doing the fun thing in this game, killing things.

They can still be a resource.

It really doesn't need to be a net. This guy gets it. A curse is a great idea and being able to mark a group would solve a lot of the problems. Then you have a problem with too many white mobs being in the zoo but from what I can tell they aren't useful in craft all that much anyway. White mobs can be overwritten/replaced by rarer/higher leveled mobs easily enough though so surely it's not that big a problem.

Also, name lock melee skills are out of favour for a reason, they're a pain in the ass with faster mobs and more dangerous. Guess why having to name lock a net throw is also bad?
