Oni-Goroshi in Current League - are You gonna farm it or drop it?

Curious: how do you force Hillock (or the game) to drop a TR?
I've killed maybe 20 - 25 Uber Hillocks (and roughly 2500 normal Hillocks) since the Release of OG, and i only dropped one TR so far. pure RNG?
relax - it's just ones and zeros!
With the release of POE 2 gear will lose multiple sockets and gems will get them. I'm guessing all old gear will lose them too including OG. If that is the case then UH should drop the sword and a 6 linked gem of some sort. Maybe you will get a choice.

Yup. I have had 3 TR drop in total and have farmed 3 Onis.

During my farmings i found more than one Tabula. During this league also found one.
Quick question for all who have farmed OG recently, how long roughly does it take to get on OG?

i know it will differ for everyone but i recently started playing ssf and want to start next league with 2x OG and just working out rough times i should expect. All info i can find is old so current info would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Level 7 is possible, level 8 is probable, level 9 is not unheard of

Other than Arrowneus, has anyone else made it to 9?
I don't know if I could make it that far.

I have, although I'm not sure it counts because I did it in Standard League.

I started with 3 Scions in rotation. The first Scion got the sword at 8.14. The 3rd Scion got it at 8.16. But the 2nd Scion didn't get the sword until 9.03.

I just farmed one in SSF Standard using four scions. They were all between level 8.00 and 8.20 when Uber Hillock spawned. I think it took under 8 hours. I spent the first few hours gearing everyone up (ms boots, high dps 2H, flasks, etc). I also cleared the entire zone until level 8, when I switched to rushing Hillock.

The scion who graduated from Twilight Strand with the Oni-Goroshi has been replaced by another in case I want to farm another in the future.

There's something zen about farming Twilight Strand.

I wanted it to feel like a sort of chill-out, low-stakes experience in a loud, flashy casino full of angry, emotionally high-strung gamblers. At the same time, it's still kind of frustrating and seemingly pointless, because She wouldn't have it any other way. Nothing worth holding is easy to acquire.

The old and often misattributed cliche runs: insanity is doing the same thing over and again and expecting different results. What then do we call doing the same thing over and again and actually, after hundreds of times, *getting* a different result? Whatever it is, She knows the word for it and isn't inclined to share.

But for want of the true name, 'zen' should suffice.

Huh. My mace dude is now an actual cultist of Chayula. That's kinda wild.
