A Few Specific Balance Changes in 3.2.0

Welcome to POE. The one and only thing these devs can do is crush players with RNG left and right. I love this game. I have over 3000 hours logged in steam alone (who knows how many before steam was linked). But in all of those 3000+ hours (outside of linking and coloring items) I haven't once bothered to try crafting anything useful. Crafting is garbage in this game IMO due to RNG.

If you're one of those players who abused Sext blocking and getting "30x drops" out of maps, sure, it was worth crafting because you have 400 ex to throw at items for a build... But for the VAST majority of normal players either you never had enough money to bother or you got SUPER lucky with a random helm enchant or unique drop that sold for massive currency to one of those rich farmer/rng luck players.

I was responding a change made to Oni-Goroshi, which is farmed in Twilight Strand.

Miscommunication I imagine. No one is finding 70 exalts. I find between 3 and 6 in a league. But then I dont Biscos+ Zana 8. Even if I did I don't think it would become anywhere near 70 found.


You are right its not droppeming per se but also trade

I'm one of the 90% of the players who loves those changes.
If you intend to bring abusive mechanics like sextants again, please include them in your (rly nicely) help/assistance-tool. And increase the Map-Drop Rates please.
I allways struggle to get enought red tier maps 5 weeks after league start. I can do up to T15 all maps with all but bloodmagic mod as corrupted (including boss).
Id wish you would give Bosses a fiex Map-Dropchance like 50% to drop a map of the same tier or higher or 100% if he is corrupted. Or some other Solution. Or just Let Zana sell red maps up to tier 13 for lower Prices.

I support that. Not once did I have a master on level eight, closes was half way through. Zana is always 5 or 6... it´s just not possible.

I doubt we'll ever see different rules for SSF - and I dont really see the need for your suggestion: this league was really short for me, missing 2 full weeks over xmas and even some amount of other weekends for longer gameplay sessions - and ended with only Vagan 'missing' like 4 days, and 3 days for Catarina (and 1/3 of max at Zana). All solo on my own with daily dailes and some map occurences. I'm fine with that.

I love the fact that there's a limit to sextants now. Sextant blocking is the only thing in the game almost no one will ever figure out how it works without watching a 10 minute video. I honestly think it should be completely removed, or at least explained in more detail in game.

If one is really dedicated to Oni and what she means, then there were WEEKS of knowing about (any form of) this upcoming change. Active contributors 'knew' it since end of last year and had plenty enough time to 'react'.

(That didnt affect (upcoming) league play but that's intended and same for all of us. And there's always people who are 'late', but thats just life; nothing that can be done against)
