[3.1] Detonate Dead - Poet's Pen & QotF Pathfinder - Uberlab farmer + 15+ maps down

the damage is certainly good for izaro, the ball targeting is kind of annoying - if you could get that to work in your favor (maybe the far corner?) I could see it shotgunning him, otherwise it risks eating a key by killing the gargoyle or lieutenant ect. Maybe it'd be best to run volatile when there's nothing to target other than izaro. I'd like to see it work, but I do see the issue with it.

on my current volatile build I sat in the top corner, let him jump on me, then piled balls (but that wouldn't shotgun) I wonder if there's a way to play to make it guarantee hit izaro.

try cremation instead of culling strike and put culling strike on an orb of storm you can set down in the last fight.

if he's double dps switch flammability for enfeeble or get a +1 curse ammy and use flamm/enfeeble - if you get your dps up to 150k on the balls you could even go more defensive and do temp chains/enfeeble (on a 6l) Hell, if you were able to double the dps you could probably 1 shot him with the dd combo.


not sure where it spawns, but I want to note that a level 24 unearth spawns level 84 bodies, however a level 20+ desecrate spawns level 100 corpses. (at least according to the wiki) does desecrate spawn in the right spot? if so would that be better off? Or does desecrate have a cooldown?

runs are a bit slow, but that may just be because you're not super familiar with lab layouts. last league my blade flurry character with about 370-380ms was doing full key lab runs in 6-8 minutes and speed runs in 2-4 minutes. However, you doing 10 minute runs today is a ton faster than the garbage character I made this league.

I'm not super amazing at theory crafting builds, but I tried messing around with non-crit. This build assumes abyss jewels with triple damage (may be expensive next league?)

but your pob standard boss dps is 47k with 1500 ignite, I got the non-crit version up to 72k with 3500 ignite. (just on the spell dps, as the explosion dps is a flat 39k on both)

That might work, but you should know that having 2 spells in 1 Poet's Pen will alternate between attacks. This doesn't really interfere with Volatile Dead, but might with Detonate Dead since the AoE is a bit wonky for DD.

Never really had a problem with uberlab killing me on this character. I mostly die because of bleeds or just not paying attention. Izaro has only killed me once.

In the video I was a bit slacking and adjusting to my skill duration. I was used to having Phase run with alot of duration :P. My best speedrun so far was a 5th place in the leaderboards 2 weeks ago.
I can mostly do full key runs in 8 minutes.
I always super min-max my lab runners, if I don't get within 10-15 seconds of 1st I feel like I'm doing something wrong.

mmm the alternating effect yeah with volatile it's probably fine as you generate 5 corpses but only use 3 therefore have an excess of 2 (that you could cremate with)

I was using EE for this build together with Added cold damage to attacks on one of my jewelry to make the enemy vulnerable to Fire damage, what we mainly deal. Added cold damage to attacks works together with frenzy to make EE work.

If you compare your damage to mine in one of the videos, does it seem low to you?
For maximum damage output you'll need most top tier items, though, like:

- Detonate Dead / Volatile Dead helmet enchantement
- Cooldown Recovery Speed belt + boots
- Good Opal rings
- Good Jewels

Comparing my damage output to other uberlab farmers, I'd say this is enough damage (and ranged aswell).

Overall experience with maps and uber both: Dissapointing lol...
not the same dps but am at t1 map at lvl 70 and meh.

I'm working on a new uberlab farmer, though. I'm still leveling it but it should be a fine leveler. It's featuring the new Deadeye Ascension.
In the pob, it says your frenzy stacks to 4.47aps. How do i scale it down?
