Map Stash Price and Ethical Behavior

I would assume that the price on the map stash tab was carefully arrived at after carefully analyzing how many stash tabs were typically consumed storing maps and factoring in the nice QOL advantage of the map stash tab. It would have been a big marketing mistake to charge so little for the map tab that they lost money when factoring in the expected loss of regular stash tab sales.
Over 430 threads discussing labyrinth problems with over 1040 posters in support (thread # 1702621) Thank you all! GGG will implement a different method for ascension in PoE2. Retired!
The map tab is not expensive at all and is not required to play the game .

Why are people bitching about the price of the map stash tab? Because it's unethical to charge so much? You are missing the forest for the trees. There is a much more basic, and important, question you should be considering:

"Does GGG honestly represent what it is selling?"

For most people the map tab will never be fully utilized, hence isn't required.
It is also seriously under priced considering the amount of actual space it gives.

AND it goes on fucking sale.

Stop whining about it.

I suggest you read my entire post, and while you are at it read the remaining posts on the first page, in which I make some extremely (in my opinion) reasonable suggestions on how the official PR materials (website, mostly) can be brought in line with reality.

Having done so, feel free to make specific objections to my suggestions, or even say that they are completely unreasonable. I welcome opinions which are contrary to my own, for that is the only way ideas get polished.

Until you have done so, you are not really in a position to whine about the "whining" of others.
