[3.4] Blood Magic Detonate Dead Totem Chieftain (Boss Killer/Mapper. All Map Mods!)

Updated the build for 3.2

Stoked for someone to try this out in 3.2!!! If my Freeze Pulse Hiero can't take down Shaper/Uber Elder I'm probably gonna rebuild this in 3.2 as well...

I'm starting something similar and this guide is really helpful . Would like to know if you think any of the new elder/shaper mods are worth looking out for on items?

Ok... So im trying this wonky build out because it looks really really cool.

Something really unexpected happened during leveling though. I ran the sunder tactic but started getting my butt kicked around 54. Got better weapons as soon as possible since i dont have any caster gear or enough C to buy good stuff.

But i found a really cheap Ngamahu i intended to just use for the regular dps. But because we do firedmg , i tried cyclone for the molten burst and it worked pretty silly good. So that is also a viable option once u get the axe if you havent gotten the spelltotem setup running quite yet. it really isnt optimal, but i pwned izaro without any issues.

heres my leveling gear, i can hardly wait to specc into DD, cause this is just strange, but it works.

Nice, Affelainen - Ngamahu on Chieftain is probably hell lot of fun! You can probably just spec into a proper Cyclone build at that point or molten strike the sh*** out of uber elder/shaper - the spec is probably as strong if not stronger than the DD char :P - problem might be the regrets it takes to change your passive tree^^

Nice! Glad you like it - sick gear you have going there - the 28% inc fire damage from that sceptre will carry you hard until you can get a catalyst ... do you already have a 5/6l Carcass?

Lol i wish. Im at 5k hp though so i can stick it out a while longer in my tabula, i still have to 6l a Belly for my main currencymaker. And this gear left me with 50c funding =D. So i'll have to grind some more.

But that is a good thing since this build requires a certain playstyle. Not the easiest to manage in reflect but it works, and positioning is key on bosses. I kinda like it though makes it more challenging and gives new depth to the game instead of allways using facerollers.

I think ill just keep this build throughout the league and invest heavy currency to see what i can make of it, maybe adjust tree to playstyle and such.

but all in all so far it's pretty awesome as a mapper, if you get the totemchaining up it just wrecks maps, ofc this works best with monsterdensity. Also sometimes i noticed its easier to just drop desecrate rather than unearth.

But im superimpressed, good crafting and most awesomely fun build.

Just want to say though, breaches are a breeze, everything just blows up, its like the 4th of july in there. Im thinking maybe a vaal breach gem would help out on certain bosses, seeing as how the mechanic utilises mobs.

Wow, I haven't thought of Vaal Breach - that might be great for Guardians. I can guarantee you to that you won't be needing it for maps when you're decked out. T15 bosses fall in seconds to just unearth/desecrate.

The play style is demanding, yes - you have to like doing more than holding down RMB, which is right up my alley.

And don't worry about reflect: once you have Uber Lab, your totems will be immune to fire damage and reflect stops bothering you...

Yeah i was thinking about that, i totally forgot i didnt get the last asc yet. But im still playing them reflects because i can,im stupid like that and love a challenge =D. Well, as i said before, im going to put all my currency in this build this league, so im really hoping to see those big numbers.

i played for a while now but i still learn about gems and stat interactions, wich is why dumb me got the wrong enchant on my sceptre.

ill continue to post updates and hopefully ill play this league until uberelder, still not sure though. the league for me doesnt really feel like a new league, just like maybe new added content to the maingame.
