[3.4] Blood Magic Detonate Dead Totem Chieftain (Boss Killer/Mapper. All Map Mods!)

Hey Hey! I just started playing this build, and I was wondering if you could maybe upload a leveling guide for it. Never played either DD or Totems, so I'm quite confused as to what to choose first. I don't exactly know how they scale.

Also, the builds looks very fun, even if it might not be the best. I'll probably play it in Delve.

Sure, here you go:

Your leveling tree should look like this - and you want to head towards Blood Magic first (without picking it up) and then head upwards to Templar, going towards Ancestral Bond through Purity of Flesh.

The pathing will do itself while skill-wise you should just play any Melee skill into Sunder. Use Hatred and Herald of Ash and you'll be golden. During all this you want to level an Ancestral Warchief totem and your DD totem gems in your weapon swap.

As soon as you reached the passive tree state of the link above, you will want to save up 5 levels without spending them. Once you got 5 unspent skill points you can spec into Ancestral Bond, Blood Magic, and Mortal Conviction (the nodes behind Blood Magic). Drop Hatred and Herald of Ash and start using totems.

Depending on you gear you will want to continue with either Ancestral Warchief or DD. Then you continue into the Witch area to get totem nodes, more spell- and fire damage while filling out life and jewel sockets as needed.

The best time to switch to DD totems is probably around level 70 when you already have your helmet enchant. Up until this point Ancestral Warchief totems are probably faster/more damage.

Updated the build for 3.4 - just played around with it in Standard - the ease of killing Shaper and Guardians is just amazing!! This is probably going to be a really good Delver and I'm gonna try it out!!!

I'm playing a similar build, it's pretty solid. However since we are running combustion with efficacy I decided on using Gang's Momentum boots for extra damage against ignited enemies. Would you consider Ele prolif better than efficacy? It's about a 3-4k tooltip dps loss

Hi sorry for a noob question, but have been playing Poe for about 10 months now, on Xbox, and yours is the first time I have decided to follow a build guide,

Looks like a lot of fun, but a problem I always have with these guides is that it is impossible to view the passive skill tree on either iOS (my iPad) or Xbox, using their Microsoft edge browser. Are you able to download a PDF or JPG of yiur skill tree and possibly the stages for those of us browser challenged?

(I have tried Poe on a pc for a bit, differences are profound, and both have their good and bad points, but there is SO much more it seems you can do on pc)

Isn't Ngamahu, Flame's Advance almost completely wasted on this build? They key part of the node (gain a huge boost every 3s out of 10s) goes to waste, no?

I can make a video about the skill tree progression when I get back from holiday. And yes, the first Ascendancy node is a bit of a waste, since we don’t deal any physical damage. I’m almost tempted to try this build with shockwave totem for that reason but then Blood Magic doesn’t go well with it since SWT benefits so much from Hatted and Herald of Ash..
