" u need kaom's way ring if ur ready to use embrace |
|
" On 53 lvl Her embrace would degen you for ~6.6% of life with no ruby flask just res capped. In correct flask setup it would be ~4.7% life per second. It looks like you dont have fire resistance capped. With any source of leech, regen from tree alone and capped fire res its almost impossible to feel her embrace on that level? Could you check your character defence tab -> fire resistance? IGN: PojzonAbyss

Okay, thanks! You'e right! My Fire-Resi is only 22 % - so i know what i have to do! thanks a lot!

I'm re-rolling into this from another Jugg. So far it feels a bit fragile but the DPS is good. I'm using Wild Strike instead of Frost Blades for clearing. I think I might un-spec the Acrobatics cluster for more Armor and Life to see if I can regain some tankiness.

" Armour is pretty useless in PoE. You can have effectively 50%+ phys mitigation using this build without any armour gear. Endurance Charges with basalt flask and pantheon are more than enough. Acro actually helps you a lot more than armour. It prevents ele dmg also and spell dmg. High armour chars on 100%+ ele dmg maps are paper thin without instant leech and you wont get it without Bloodseeker. Having a good balance of many defences makes overall alot more versitile and stronger character - with oni-goroshi you cant really invest in anything else to be more tanky (block is not possible, no instant leech). Got a response from many people that layers of defence make this build a lot better than some known "Tank" builds, but its not VP BV from 2.5 patch or LL guardian with 20k es. IGN: PojzonAbyss

Thanks for the feedback. I'm sticking with this for now but still am dying multiple times per T11+ map.
I'm happy with my DPS. Which of the DPS clusters could I most easily drop in favor of more life nodes? That is to say, which of the DPS clusters is least important? I think they are important in this order: 1. Fatal Blade (20k) 2. Blade Master (20k) 3. Brutal Blade (17k) 4. Primeval Force (15k) 5. Heartseeker (10k) Edit: Dropped Fury Bolts (2k) and some misc nodes to get another endurance charge and closer to 6K life. Feeling a bit safer now but still dying too often. Damage is still good. Wild Strike is MVP for me! Last edited by tainium#4935 on Feb 5, 2018, 5:54:51 PM

" I would say dropping dps is the wrong move. Maybe temporarily it will be ok until you can get a kaom's, but having high dps is a great form of defense as well, it can't kill you if it's dead. Sacrifice too much and even a decent hp pool won't save you. As appealing as the increased melee is the damage is on your gloves, you really want to be using oskram. That will increase your DPS by 5% as is, without counting power charges, and will continue to scale your crit as you get more accuracy. I'd probably recommend that as your first upgrade. Devoto's is appealing, but the helm is a great place to get a chunk of life, some resists and int to reduce your dependence on tree nodes. You can even get some DPS w/ an accuracy roll. If you're worried about tankiness this is a good place to start as well. eragon1111 already went over jewels in the first post, but you can get some extra survivability there as well. The PoF phys -> fire are pretty affordable, and having life gain on hit w/ vitality is basically like having vaal pact with molten strike, though those are pricier and getting both mods together can be difficult. Don't be discouraged at this point, it'll get better as you slowly upgrade your gear. From my pov it's probably one of my favorite builds that I've played in a while just because of how much it takes advantage of a bunch of different active buffs and scaling. I could understand if it's not for everyone though. I used wild strike after you mentioned it and I think I prefer it to frost blades. FB gives a little more range, but WS does more dps and looks and sounds cooler :D. Last edited by zoinkjr#1774 on Feb 6, 2018, 2:02:44 PM

" Thanks for your great feedback and congrats on your kills! I appreciate your insight as well as your tweaks to this build being public for us to see. By this "Te PoF phys -> fire" do you mean "a Watcher's Eye jewel with the mod % of Physical Damage taken as Fire Damage while affected by Purity of Fire"? |

" I have to say im really impressed that it was on full evasion character :) IGN: PojzonAbyss
