I solved it by installing VPN as suggested.
I Know GGG Does its best to solve everything they can, and they sure are too small for some bigger issues. Yet it is something that is affecting some portion of its player base. I'll have to pay 15 dollars/month to keep playing PoE. |

Got the same issue since last night (December 28, 2017), all gateways are on very high ms count (150 to 300ms). The thing is, everything else seems fine (Connections with League of Legends, its fine. Warframe, its fine. Anything i use on the internet is not delayed or lagged at all, but PoE is on a constant 250-280ms for me). This must be something altered within the servers since last night, which affected not only me, but also 2 friends of mine.
Yesterday, on logging in within this condition, the whole global channel for portuguese speakers were also complaining about this issue. Something went on conflit between the servers of PoE and Brazillian internet common routes, althou, it is not affecting anything else for us, just PoE's server. Kinda sad, me and my friend JUST purchased 200 points from the game shop, was really enjoying ourselves having our first Elder kill and suddenly we experience this, which is making the game unplayable... Please, keep looking into this GGG. |

Updating > Right now, went to check in the latency and it seems to have normalized (for now at least), São Paulo (BR) Gateway is at 30-33 ms (which is the normal ms for us), while all the other gateways are on their expected higher ms counts (due to the time travel).
Not sure if it was a tweak made by GGG or the ISP brazillian servers, but just updating anyway. Go check it as well |

Normalized for me as well, weird.
