Stash/Inventory: Too Many Items

I would like to also add that my friend on console had inventory full, tried to equip a sceptre to see if it was better than the one he had on, and it equipped the sceptre, but destroyed his main sceptre. did not go into back bar, did not drop on the ground, did not land anywhere strange, after hours of searching we figured the game didnt know what to do with it as the slot was full. Instead of changing places with the sceptre in his inventory, it destroyed the equipped sceptre. the "full inventory" situation needs some attention when manipulation items for sure. similar topic but not related completely I know, I just saw the post and had the information in my mind!)
