Female Armour

Please make some new armor more "suited" to the female classes. I would love to buy some vanity gear but there just aren't many good options particularly for the witch.

PS - This game is awesome and just keeps getting better. Keep up the great work!

Just to clarify, I am not talking about lingerie. What I want is a set of gear that looks class appropriate. For an elementalist witch there should be something light/cloth. The store is full of large bulky plate and such. When do you ever see a mage wearing plate armor? Yet the closest set available is the lightning plate.

I would even go for some old school robes ;)

Also, your thread name is terrible. It has nothing to do with female armor. You just want lighter armor. Lighter armor has nothing to do it being female.
It also makes a lot of sense to be wearing armor even if you are a spell caster. You don't want to get it no matter what you do. :V

Im actually amazed, that there isn't even single one long skirt in-game (despite 3 female characters), yet most exiles are running without pants.

Only Piety have some kind of female clothing


I mean is fitting clothes too much to ask? Right now only garbs look like human beings clothing and not old washing machines or carpets.

Pants and leggings were fairly specialized, historically the most widespread piece of work clothing for both sexes is a medium length tunic, it's comfortable, breezy and can be made from a grain sack in a pinch. Long skirts are a huge pain in the butt and a waste of material, the clothing was largely reserved for festivities until showing your legs in public started to be considered indecent.

Talking about historical accuracy is pointless at this point because this game lost any credibility linked to realism or practicality.

Also, again, all of the examples could be worn by man. You are not asking for female armors but leather/light armors. I agree with that.

Can't quite see the female armor thingy, tho. Mainly because it makes no sense when you're talking about stuff you are wearing in combat. The fancy stuff is for balls or anime characters (which look hilarious and terrible at the same time).

I dunno, I might be weird, but imo the best looking female characters actually wear armor that isn't overly serialized or modified in a nonsensical way for no reason. Of course, there is a trend to make it so because of horny 16 year olds, but what can you do... :V

No they couldn't be worn by man because they are designed with female body type and physic in mind. You know, armour has to fit, to be usable. Strapping on yourself 3x bigger size of clothing is even worse than running but naked. What i (and many players) ask for, is properly fitted armour, that is designed for human beigns, not Hulk. Also, a leather armour is fantasy non-sense. The amount of leather you would need to stop sharp blade or mitigate blunt impact is quite absurd. Chainmail with gambeson underneath would be much more reasonable, because not only they are basically impenetrable, but they also help to shape human body.

Everytime someone suggest more femine clothing, everyone start rambling about titty and bikini armour. Did you people never saw femine clothing, or do your mums run around in jerseys and cargo pants?

It's kinda hard for game designers to do female armor that makes sense, there are no real word examples to draw upon, and that's because it didn't exist. Meaning there was nobody stupid enough to make one even if there was demand, breast domes are an obvious idiocy and a form-fitting armor is a pop-culture fable.

Statistically, not much of it was made to order so to maximize your potential customer pool it was a one-size-fits-all thing, you'd adjust it with belts, straps and padding. A breastplate or a chain shirt would fit a scrawny recruit no worse than it would fit a woman.

Leather armor is something like a flak jacket, it won't stop bullets but it will stop shrapnel and debris, which is much better than nothing.
