28 hours and without news, I'm beginning to think that ggg only rewards those they want.
event controlled? how do EA and activision with the boxes.

Maybe there is rng god after all rewarding you for you patience

If there is an RNG god, he hates my guts.
I do not do more streamer tracking, I think GGG is taking my hair. And thanks to this event I will no longer support the game with packs or microtransactions.
I'm sorry but nobody laughs at me.

No offense, but you might feel better if you learned to laugh at yourself ;)
Guys you still don't get it, this marketing ploy is not about "us" (existing player), it is about "them" (new players that doesn't know the game yet).

If it is about giving us the reward, GGG can implement this better like what others have done, like Warframe, Hearthstone, Heroes of the storm & other more games where you just link your account to twitch & got the reward, no "probability" of getting it, no BS, which is the difference of "giving" & "baiting".

The point of the PR stunt is not to just give the reward, it's just the the carrot at the end of the stick. The point is to generate twitch viewership to make it "look popular" in twitch. Right now, since it's started, PoE is on the top 10 most views, so the other "new players" will start noticing PoE. They will start to get interested in it, plus the new exp, & they might tried it.

The reality is, GGG is not forcing anyone to do this. If you don't want twitch then don't do it, if you tried & felt disappointed for getting nothing then you can stop. And some people might feel appreciative because they rewarded for doing it. So the result is a mix feeling of negative & positive that sometimes leads to debate & hostility among the communities.

Is it much better if the feeling came out of this is all about positive, everyone in appreciative & thankful for getting something without the drama? I just wish that GGG made this "promotion" differently. There are more better ways to promote the game to "new players" without using there existing players that result in a negative feeling.

"A game IS supposed to waste your time but it's not supposed to make you FEEL like you're wasting your time:
It's supposed to make you WANT to waste your time."

Is there anyway to know if Twitch does roll the dice for me? It does say that my account is eligible to participate in Twitch Drops, but I'm still worry if it doesn't roll the dice for me after I've watching it for a day.
