not really actually,u need to reach more people u can, and in this way what bette then the best Electronic Games Live video on internet? Since they started this POE is constantly among the top 10 games, i think this was a real succexfull move.

If you dont like watching streamers actively you can mute that individual tab and switch it to background, while ideally using lowest possible resolution.
After that you can forget about it and do other things (for example playing PoE yourself, lmao).
For both sides a win-win i guess:
You are not watching other ppl playing and the streamers get their views.

Great event that really helps the streamers and helps PoE get noticed on Twitch so we get more players! Horrible RNG though... :(
