That reminds me of something. Can't quite remember what.

Oh yeah. Lock her up.
When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.

Note that if no heads roll for The Memo™, then it's tacit acceptance of Trump using such tactics against anyone that runs against him in 2020.

I felt the same way about (old topic) Hillary's e-mail server -- since nobody got in serious trouble, then it allows justification in a "race to the bottom" of job incompetence.

I would much rather see us be rather hard on ourselves in an effort to improve things instead of acting badly in response to acting badly in response to acting badly in response to...

I feel like Hillary didn't get away with it though since she was not elected despite Trump clearly being a terrible candidate. It was already determined that the incompetent handling of sensitive data was not considered a crime.

Not really, it isn't classified and confidential if you can declassified everything, Right? Why didn't Obama think of that?

That's not a punishment unless you come into it with the attitude of her "deserving" to win. There's also the fact that the laws against mishandling classified info are statutory and do not care about intent.

The reality is that nobody got jailed, nor fined, nor punished in really any measurable way. It sets a precedent that I'd rather not have our politicians abuse.

As always, try the shoe on the other foot: Do you consider it acceptable for Trump's Secretary of State (Rex Tillerson) to officially communicate possibly classified info on systems that aren't secure and aren't available to FOIA, and that can be destroyed or modified without oversight? If so, why?

Oh, if you count things that were classified after being handled by Clinton's private server, the number of classified emails increases radically.

Fun fact: Wikipedia says Trump is racist because he protected his black employees from a racist mobster. True story.

GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

Are you implying that Obama Classified those emails to set her up?

what, that's not what is being told here. The story say he was accommodating a racist high roller, nothing about protecting employees. If someone is racist, you don't protect the victims by removing them, you protect them by removing the racist.
