ALL HAIL PRESIDENT TRUMP
10% lol. Um even republicans are socialists Scottie. When you take from those with means and give to another (like social security or schools or health care or food stamps or anything else like that) it's social welfare and by extension socialism. I'd wager 100% of democrats are socialists since none would repeal our massive social welfare system. Maybe 10% of republicans are not. Maybe thats even too high. 10% of tea party are not.
Ms Ocasio-Cortez is not fringe. Just natural progression when people can vote the treasury for just existing. Been going on for at least 80 years. The founding fathers were strongly opposed to both monarchy and democracy. One is whims of one man the other devolves into mob rule and two wolves and a sheep deciding on dinner. I always laugh when people say Trump puts "our democracy in danger" he should because we should not even be a democracy. But a Republic - which says governments are instituted to secure the unalienable rights of individuals. Right to life, property, privacy, etc...That includes financial freedom which Democrats and most Republicans trespass. Founding fathers are fringe these days. Git R Dun! Your definition of socialism is "taxing people to pay for government functions." So, yes, by that definition everyone (including Republicans) are socialists.

It's not my definition. Socialism broadly, is democratic control of means of production. democratic which we are now since congress is no longer bound to "enumerated powers" and can do whatever based on wild interpretation of "general welfare clause" - and by taxing you they own you. Ask Westley Snipes or thousands of others who didnt want to be owned what happened to them. Anyway I'm not opposed to all taxes government has to be paid for and was prior to income taxes visa vi excise/tariffs and other indirect taxes which don't tax production. As an added bonus it kept gov really small. Military adventurism, WW1 started the income tax.

Trump's economy - America's labor shortage reaching critical point.

" Trumps's border policies have very little to do with this. Unless you think that employing illegal immigrants is a good thing? At most, you could say that Trump disgust would be immigrants (which is true) and that caused a shortage of incoming workforce but that's a bit of a stretch. Aim is a VERY staunch libertarian. I used to be best friends with one when I was much younger. We didn't always agree but we used to have some interesting arguments (I was further left then).
But a lot of people are going to think that people like that are far right. " No, I don't watch any American news really. I stick with foreign stuff due to the heavy propaganda coming from both sides. Sadly, my FB is FULL of libs (it is complicated why but has to do with biz) and I'm getting this from them. They have literally gone from moderate to heavy left a few years ago, to heavy extreme left (some even id as commies or more likely, socialists as it's not as dirty of a word in the US as in W Europe). Obviously I'm speaking generally, but it is amazing to see. They watch propaganda constantly. Censored.

" Only reason there are "illegal" is stupid laws. Look I'm a chamber of commerce free movement Republican so don't agree Trump on this issue. I believe in liberty not controls. If employers need labor some documentation shouldnt stop it. Actually we should not even have to fill out any documentation to gov. i9s W2s etc. Then you'd see economic boom never seen before. " Yeah cuz America could really stand "free movement" of the billions of poor people who would love to come squat on our soil. I'm so glad trump won hahahahahahaha. #RealityCheck |

" huh, no. It's absolutely needed that employers have to hire and check documentation. Otherwise, the employees have no recourse at all if the employer abuse them because he can dismiss hiring them. It 100% needs to leave a trace. Employers can also strongarm illegals to accept (much) lower wages in fear of being reported to immigration. And this shit happens a lot. "Absolutely. Corporatists are finally starting to feel the screws, and we're not far from American labor being in a real position to negotiate with employers for a good deal instead of having to go through the courts. You act as if the immigration of the Obama era was free flow of people, and not subsidized by the welfare state at the behest of corporate lobbyists using stolen taxpayer dollars! Are you really a libertarian, or are you an opportunist who borrows libertarian arguments if, and only if, they benefit big businesses at the expense of labor?
