Rare monsters are easy, just attack them for a split second and move away, once the balls drop on it and it shoots out its projectile, you'll be far enough to dodge :) At least that's what I'd do if it was a problem for me.

honest question, how do you farm currency with speed farming ?

i always wanted a tanky char to ggo beyong T14 but I always found that selling my higher tier map + speed curreny farming with huge aoe and dps and lower def resulted in more Currency....

but i never went behong T14.... so how do you make currency with your build ?!

I made good amount of currency starting Abyss with Life+MoM version and Uber Lab farming, also had 1 lucky hit on Tornado Shot projectiles in less then 10 labs. This allowed me to buy Brutus/2 proj enchant I started to farm T16 maps. Return was stable and if you are farming bosses early, their drops sell for a bit more, and you could sell spots for corrupted completion as well. I was selling Shaper sets for either chaos or 1ex/set, depending on which one was more profitable, I only get flasks/sword if I play Standard lol.

This amazing build should be my league starter. Did a test run in Standard and totally liked it!

Did you already get an impression of the 3.2 elementalist "improvements"? Calculation is quite difficult and I'm too noob to get a good idea.

Orb of storms cannot trigger Mastermind of discord and Elemental overload together at once anymore. Not sure if it is worth it anymore. Herald of Ash? OMG... In the MoM version maybe, but in the more cool ES version it means to drop Anger or Discipline which I think is bad.

Maybe take Beacon of ruin instead and use the three dragons for shock chance? Again we lose quite a lot of good stats.

Molten shell could be replaced by a third golem.

That's all I see. Not sure if it makes sense though :)

I was really shocked when new Elementalist has been revealed. So far I only did a little rant on reddit here and there, but this is my summary:

I think we got nerfed in worst possible way, and in all honesty, I don't see how these changes are good or an improvement for ANY self cast or attack based Elementalist build over what we already had. The only builds buffed were Golems and Heralds, majority of builds I've seen are actually nerfed (Wild Strike users are in worse agony then Molten Strike, however). I really hope GGG does listen and gives Elementalist a second (third?) look before 3.2 hits, I was looking forward to start a new league with this build again but at this point I'm really triggered and will probably do something with Occultist instead...

I don't think Beacon of Ruin will be a good idea just because we not only use Elemental Focus, but also we deal dozens/hundreds of hits per second but each hit on its own is small that it won't even apply 1% shock/chill, so getting 20% shock / 10% chill will be impossible vs bosses.

does brutus lead sprinkler gives fire damage to magma balls also?

Yes, as your Magma Balls damage is based on your weapon.

hello, i want to try this build because i just got lyco, and bought brutus lead sprinkler, what is good ascendancy to use this build now ? are chieftain is good ? since chieftain = free xoph blood
