The Design of 3.0.2's New Unique Items

Hope the 3D art is good, because these items aren't.

• Six-link chest, chrome for mostly red sockets. A couple greens might be fine, but blues are worthless.
• Corrupt chest with +1 to Socketed Gems.
• Place corrupted Level 4 Empower in a red socket, becoming a Level 6.
• Place corrupted Level 21 active skill(s) in a red socket.
• Active skill(s) are now Level 28.

Trade will become filled to the brim with corrupted bricks.

The gloves would be interesting if the interval wasn't so long or if discharge was still good. The chest doesn't interest me at all. If I got it as a drop then great but I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to link it or buy it off trade.

Now that is some potentially powerful offensive bonuses.

'...on kill'. Again. So it's useless vs bosses and while mapping you 90% of the time do not care about charges. Thanks for life on gloves. Without that this gloves will be completely deadborn.

The Dialla chest is functionally just another version of skin of the loyal, except you have to link it yourself.

Edit: To the people freaking out about getting level 28 gems: you could already do that with a +1 corrupted skin of the loyal. Depending on how rare this new chest is, 6-linking it and getting the desired corrupt will be even more expensive than a +1 skin.

+7-8 to some skills isnt good and doesnt add much... take sunder going from 21 to 28 only adds 16% damage (insert math i cant do) and i dont think it would do much

Losing chest stats for that most likely isnt worth it even on SC but builds like BoR would use it most likely (i will if i get one to replace my tab)

I think it will be fine before endgame when people use a tab or people who dont need armor stats

Also getting lvl 4 empower is impossible as is +1 gem (to me ive vaaled 6+? empowers not one lvl 4 yet and like 20 tabs no +1)


Gloves look like they could be good for some discharge builds maybe (if the cooldown isnt to long so you can keep the charges up)

Love how people rip into items GGG releases that aren't just completely OP and broken... Also, are you saying that if GGG released an absolute GG item on an ES base you wouldn't use it... Imagine they just made Kaom's into an ES base (they wouldn't, but just what if), you wouldn't use it? I probably still would for the 500 life...
