So, like Loki, this build is full of tricks. You have Mind over Matter, Acrobatics, Blind, and some Evasion. You run Righteous Fire, because you can, and you blast your foes with the magic of the giants!

Mind over Matter takes 40% of your damage to Mana.
Acrobatics lowers damage taken drastically, same with Blind.

Your strategy is to use War Cry to recover when needed, Orb of Storms with Arcane Surge for Overload proccing, and facetanking most content easily. Vaal Grace if you need the extra boost. You only really kite the abilities that might be a one-shot, and those are RARE.

It's possible to grab Vaal Pact, but I don't recommend it - you're better off with RF on for a massive DPS boost, and you can sustain it fine 100% of the time unless map mods are annoying. You can tank Guardians without VP just fine!

3.1 UPDATES:
MoM got a slight nerf - that's fine, you have plenty.
Intimidate no longer affects spells - that's fine, use the new OP belts.
Harbinger's helmet is no longer available - that's fine, use a rare.
Use the new Abyss boots (Bubonic...) for more deeps.
Glacial Cascade has a threshold jewel - you should prooooobably use it.

Life: 5670, upto 1599 regen.
Mana: 4159, upto 943 regen.
MoM: 40%

Be sure not to overlevel Arcane Surge, so it activated with one use of Orb of Storms: level 7-11, depending on links and whether it's 4L or 6L.
Can use Blood Rage or Rallying Cry, as needed.
Rares can be used until you can afford some of the uniques.
It's important to have as much Life/Mana/Mana Regen on gear as possible, as well as enough Resists.

Gear Explained:
Helmet give you a Harbinger that perma-Shocks/Chills enemies.
Belt gives you Intimidate, which is 10% more damage for nearby enemies (about the range of your RF).
The ring lets you run Hatred without losing Mana.
The amulet is amazing for Guardians, it gives you permanent Blind (50% to miss).
The unique jewels are simply very good, but not a must.

Other gear and gem options:
Pledge of Hands - This works just as well as the best top-tier caster gear. The only downside is you can't use a good movement skill. If you're ok with Leap Slam or Lightning Warp, this is amazing.
Atziri's Step - If you can balance the res somehow, this is amazing for any Acrobatics build.
Atziri's Promise - This is a cheap alternative to Taste of Hate.
The Overflowing Chalice - Amazing flask, very underrated.
Blood Rage - Works fine until you can afford a Green Dream or Green Nightmare.

Enchantments / Vaal:
Helmet: Stone Golem Effect if you want to run RF. If not, Glacial Cascade Damage is also fine, or 40% of Phys Converted to Cold to save 3 points.
Gloves: Elemental Weakness on Hit / XXX of Spite / XXX of Light / XXX of Reflection / XXX of War / XXX of Blades / Cast Speed / Spell Damage.
Boots: Regenerate % of Life and Mana per second if you were Hit Recently.
Amulet: +1 Curse, or +1 Frenzy, if anything. Bloody Good Luck!

Looks like a really tanky build, glacial cascade is fun by itself. Getting a really nice sceptre and a nice essence crafted opal ring might boost your damage quite a bit.
Hows the area of effect btw? Everytime i see someone play GC is as a miner and they have ridiculous AoE, is it good enough as selfcast?
Never did a MoM based build, might actually give this a try as my next build.

Yeah, trying to fit in such a ring somehow, it's a bit tricky, but can be upto 5-15% more damage from that + OP Sceptre + even better Jewels. I'd need much better gloves first.

AoE is amazing, use Inc AoE for clearing which one shots a half screen wide area, and Conc Effect for bosses. It's not as much as Miner, but not a lot less.

I really like the helm enchant for stone golem to get the life regen.

Makes alot of sense to maintain RF.
