[3.0] The Azure Knight, Scion version (Realistic Flurry Conversion build)
There are a few different pastebins, some of them have reduced life on the tree to match life of other builds for better comparison. I have to recheck 3 core pastebins, however.
I'm off to work now but I'll answer your questions when I come back :) My build guides:

Ehy dude, do you remember me? =)
So, since i played this build, and quite a bit also, it felt that it was about time to give some feed-back. First off, sorry for being this late, but ive been busy (both playing and irl =P), also ive a memory issue, so each time i wanted to reply i was not able to do it, then it slipped my mind xD. So, i never played BF nor scion, and i loved this build! It is fast, flashy and, with a bit of investment, it rips thru stuff. All things i love. At first, it was kinda clunky to get used to the 6-stage thingy, but it was mostly a matter of habit, maybe amplified at first, when i was still struggling to find attack speed. Another pain in the back was getting used to play w/o a life flask: playing with one makes you (or, at least, me) play a bit more recklessly, since u have the pot to "repair" the damage. But i have to say, the build really shine in being full offensive. The quick-swap (BR micro-managing) became natural as well, to the point i started to do it on my alts with no reason - funny story: i play an aurabot, and every now and then happens that i do the quick-swap, just to loose all my auras and have to recast them...fuck muscolar memory! x) I've made my tiny adjustments here and there: first, as an azure knight, i workship The Brine King xD No, really, i fuond myself dying a lot less running that major, especially fully upgraded. I may consider to try lunaris again for mapping tho, since i improved my char alot since i changed phant. Another thing (nothing new tho) is that i just use abyssus for the shaper, since too many random stuff can hit you while mapping, and they can hurt a lot, if u keep that helm. I use starkonja for everything else: dps is really hig enough, even for guardians, it nets you 100 flat life and don't have that nasty 40% increased damage. I ditched enduring cry: really could not get used to that é_é Also, i decided to take off the ice golem: since i used to self-cast that, it was perma-dead, so its dps increase was just present at the start of the fight, and just for few seconds. I replaced it with culling strike, linked to the AW, and i must say i love it much much, nothing game-breaking, but qol improving for sure imho. Then, i slapped in vaal haste in the off hand setup (blood rage - vaal haste - increased duration), so i go super-sayan for that few seconds. Lastly, my defensive flask is a quartz flask, but that i think is more personal preference than other: i find that 10% dodge and spell dodge synergyze better with the defenses (also, i like phasing). https://pastebin.com/GQB7f3mt This is my toon, to share (i un-checked vaal haste): 6.3ish hp and 2.8m dps with abyssus 6.6ish hp and 1.8m dps with starkonja So, i would still have some improvements to do, the biggest being cap myself for ele weakness maps (altho that sounds quite expensive). Getting a big claw, with high a.speed and crit (also, exspenive af). Then try gem corruptions, That sayed, im not that motivated, since the league is ending and ive already did all things that i cared for (bar uber atz). @Izeliae - apart from the OP advice, you could also try: + drop abyssus, especially if u are trying to level up, runng with that helm hurts!; + try (if you did not already) switching major from solaris to brine king: it helped me alot, avoiding chain stuns; + try to fit in vall grace: when i was leveling to 93, i ran that. Is a super-boon defensive wise, and coupled with all others stuff, and a quartz flask, it helped me a lot. Later, when you feel confortable, you can replace it with vaal haste, and go super sayan! Also, you should note that choosing alira is not at all a bad choice (as already stated): 20% crit multi speaks for itself, the resistances makes so much easier to gear up, and that mana reg is good for qol, since we spam whiling blades =). In the end, i really liked your build! While it may still be a little fragile at times, it is indeed fun and rewarding to play, thx so much for sharing! Also, so sorry for the wall of text, i tend to do that xD Cheers! |

Ok, I think best thing for you is to follow the pastebin which is in the most budget version, that one that has Wasp Nest etc. It has 200% life from the tree at level 87, and from there you can pick more dps or more life nodes as you need.
Make sure you get the gem links right - Frost Bomb has to be in CwDT, you can run something like CwDT Immortal Call Frost Bomb Vortex on lower levels (1-10) for them to trigger often. Casting FB manually isn't worth it. Good call on getting Blind linked with Totem, I don't see a lot of people do that but it does help a ton. I've already touched earlier on your gear, so try to get more resists, life, and less focus on dps. Getting 70 hp is more important then getting good steel rings or opals. http://poe.trade/search/akonobomauorit This is how I'd be looking for ring changes, high res, hi life, maybe some dps mods. Accuracy is very important and you don't seem to get any of it from your current set. You can tweak the search values but you can find some very good rings for around 30c. I'll say it again, but - fill up that Scion life wheel! :) Like Jacksan already said as well, Alira is very good as it helps with gearing and provides decent dps boost. "Glad you enjoyed the build mate, and thanks for the feedback as well. Vaal Grace and Quartz does synergize great defensively for this build, I never thought of that :) My build guides: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2180198 Taking a break from PoE, catch me up in Warframe: https://www.warframe.com/signup?referrerId=5b625847f2f2eb0ea0750322 Use above link for free booster when you sign up! :) Last edited by Bristoling#3346 on Oct 17, 2017, 7:36:37 PM

Hello, explain plx, how you stacked near 70% evade chanse? i dont get it :D I disabled all nods on tree and all gear with gems, its still 56%.
|
|
It's total chance to evade attacks including dodge, block and blind rebuff :) PoB calculates it in the calculator tab.

" never had problems manual casting frost bomb. i got up to 5460hp and traded off some dps. could get up to 6k if i swapped to a belly and traded off a bit more dps but i'd have to work on my resists again afterwards and i'd lose some mapping dps (but i could gain some boss dps) not worth it to me atm, but maybe later? killed shaper earlier today, not deathless (3) but not bad. 1 was just unfortunate, zana took a knee at the start of the add phase T.T i'll do a couple more runs and see where i can improve. the dps is still quite capable though I wouldnt mind finding a bit more! still ditch the abyssus for guardians (except hydra, haha hydra) |

I'm looking at your level 90 skill tree and I don't see any links from the Scion start. Are they missing or does this involve taking Ranger ascendency and then deleting stuff?

Yes, this way we can allow ourselves to travel further and pick up more life on the tree. Of course if you prefer to sacrifice some life for dps, then crit multi and attack speed + jewel socket are also great picks.

Hey!
I just started with a scion BF build following another guide, but yours is much more comfortable. I just made some adjustements in PoB, looks pretty solid, maybe Ill share later. So some questions: 1. Which main attack modifiers should be aimed for or better said: which cap of each should be reached? Attack speed cap? Crit chance cap? crit multiplier cap? Dunno whats better for BF atm and i need some information to better balance jewels/passive tree. 2. What about Belt of the deceiver and/or kaoms roots? THey are pretty solid but then it is hard to get Resis cap when using unique helm and unique armor Thanks in advance! Best, S. Edit: Here is the Pastebin link. It gives much more damage and only lsoe a bit of life. Res are overcapped atm but you can reduce res on jewels. https://pastebin.com/ssQtR9Yy P.S.: Berserk Ascendancy vs. 2 Golems from Elementalist.... Dunno what#s better... I think Elementalist is better in general, a lot less problems with elemental reflect.
Kaom's are good but with my build, they are very hard to implement because of lack of resists. You could swap Perfect Form with a high resist rare, but you will lose a lot of evasion and arctic armour (and spell dodge). Belt of Deceiver can definately be used, if your resistances on other pieces of gear are good. But, high resists cost a lot, that's why I usually recommend Leather Belts with resistances. Deceiver is great for max dps. Sorry for late and short response, been doing 12 hour shifts at work and didn't have much time to look at the forums/play. Trying to theoritize a boss freezer build in my spare time, crunching numbers in PoB :p My build guides:
