Anyone ran the numbers in 3.0 on Magic find? Do the OP, do you think that Magic find gear out paces money making in say just a faster farmer w/o the gear?

TO be more specific, say my Frost Blades Raider can blast a map in 2 min, is doing that same map with this build in 3 min worth it from a making phat lewts perspectice?

Alched a Shaped Dunes (pretty open layout that doesn't really change from map to map). Bootyblasted it (and boss) in 1:43 without picking up gear /remaining =15.

Remember, in this meta, where 2 or 3 uniques are worth more than 15c, "MF" just means stacking as much quantity as you can get away with.

So, you've Catch22'd yourself, my dear friend. It's slower BECAUSE there's more loot to pick up. Unless you're an OSU! pro.

For me, it's worth it.

So, it depends entirely on your definition of "phat lewts," as you so eloquently put it. At leveled gems, 6L, this build is just as fast as almost everything but Vaal Power Siphon with HH or inspired learnings. The slow part is actually picking up all the (extra) loot.

Do you only pick up alterations and up? 6S's? In an average (sextant'd) map, I'll have to use 2 portals just to dump 6S. But that's where the real muns are. Not the huge T0 unique drops or exalts raining from the sky, but steady, predictable flow of jeweler's, fusings, etc.

If you only pick up T1's and doctor cards, this build is almost certainly faster. Full stop. With more quantity.

what are your thoughts on running nemesis mod on maps in order to make use of the giant amount of rarity youre using?

I run Nemesis on a number of occasions.
-when I have ~2.5 stash tabs of leather belts
~when I have the strongbox sextant/monstrous treasure
~when I have the "nemesis monsters drop currency" sextant

I only have about 164% rarity (more vs Magic monsters, and more with rampage).

You have to keep in mind that finding a straight Headhunter is almost certainly a "T0" unique. Think of how many Kaom's Hearts and Shavronne's Wrappings you've found this league. Zero for me, and I've played a frankly embarrassing amount.

Now for just one more chaos, you could add around 400? monsters to your map, a good deal of which are rare, and some of which drop sellable shards. Not to mention the little clenched fistulas. All of which could be carrying doctor cards!

I think that's an easy decision.

Now, suppose you don't have Zana 8. I think Perandus is the better call. I saw someone buying a Trove in /820 for 90c the other day. And Cadiro might have your Headhunter just sitting there. For sale. Coins are of little use to an Exile, after all.

But of course, it could drop twice in your first Nemesis map. It all depends on how lucky you feel. And how much MTX you buy?

Thanks for the speedy reply, Clear Mind Jewel? Given we are not really running anything on mana?
Hello there, why do you use blood rage? Also do you think deadeye would work?

Yes, Clear Mind is perfect here. It's mentioned briefly in the jewels section.

Blood Rage is to give us Frenzy Charges (damage and cast speed). Also, it reduces our mana regeneration via Mind over Matter.

Let's try the Socratic Method: What would be better about using deadeye?

Hi

I'm bit new to ED and to this build , but managed to get my hands on a 6L Cherrubim's.
That could work too , right?
Well, switched to this build "just for funz" day ago. Here are my brief thoughts:

1) Gems help a lot. If you are about to run this build efficiently - go for 20/20 or at least 20/0 gems from poe.trade. ED is 2c, supports are 5-8c each.
2) Cast speed matters. Thats why you are interested in frenzies, maybe jewels with cast speed. Overall, high values of it will make your gameplay much smoother.
3) With 5l you should focus on maps below t10 to do them efficiently. Of course, you can go for dunes, but boss killing might be slow for t10 with only 5l. Especially maps like Dunes with regen boss and degen clouds might take some time. It will take you only one or half a day to farm for 6l at t6-t9 maps.
4) Sparking skeletons are pieces of shit, be cautious vs them without phase acro.
5) Insane amount of quantity. And I MEAN IT.
6) Build SCALES with sextants. That's exactly the situation where additional mobs from 1+ sextants will only make map clear faster rather than without it. More mobs - easier spread.
7) Build might be laggy, be careful rolling it on a laptop, but still totally okay.

So overall, this build is damn fun, thanks OP for sharing it. It was my first ED character in 2+ years of playing PoE and I clearly love that it turned out that fast. Gameplay takes time to get used, but when you are - it feels so smooth and cool. Just running around, picking up loot and seeing things around die even without any actions from your side. Don't fool yourself - that's MF character with 3.3k life, without any leech, but it is fast, it is MF, it is cool.

running cherrubim's you are losing the main idea of the build - being fast. Also it might be a pain in the ass to color it.
I would suggest just going 5l QotF.
Any tips for keeping your Mana down so you can keep the drip of the money maker going? The only Regen I have is on my clear mind, yet I find I am always topped off, I do run into packs and hope I get hit in the mouth :) That has works, most the time....
