it means that the flask needs more than 0 mana to work, so there isn't any point in using it and MoM unless you can make that happen

i see two ways:

1. get a helmet enchant that reduces mana reservation of an aura
2. get two jewels with reduced mana reservation corruption, one wouldn't be enough

I talked about the new Malevolence aura before the league started, and turns out that there is a way to make use of it, and more than that, it seems to be the most optimal choice for an endgame character.

So the issue with this aura is that it reserves 50% mana, which is too much, but we can use an Aul's Uprising amulet to reduce that cost to 0. There is also a new mod that can roll on a Watcher's Eye jewel that gives us up to 20% life recovery, which is more than enough to compensate for the loss of regen from a rare marble amulet. The cost of this setup is quite high however. The amulet alone is currently 20+ ex. And a jewel might be hard to find, since it needs to have both Malevolence recovery and Vitality recovery mods on it.

I think its better for me to remove spider's aura.

And spend points elsewhere..

I think i'll lose to many regen if i play without MoM and flask. And many DPS if i change my jewel and enchant. More than the contribution of spider imo.

Isnt marbe amulet with over 30% fire damage jus better ?

No. Let's say you get lucky and craft t1 %fire and %fire with scorched fossil. That's 56% increased fire damage, which is about 6% more damage. Malevolence gives 20% more damage.

Now let's look at regen. Elder marble amulet can roll up to 3.6% regen. And let's say you are using a watchers eye with 30% recovery and 140 flat regen. If you replace that with 30% recovery and 20% recovery with Malevolence, that will almost be the same. When i looked at my character, i only lost 2% net regen, which is around 100 regen.

So it's definitely worth it. That's what i'm gonna use on my standard character.
Is there a minimum %life recovery rate needed on the belt to make it worthwhile?

I know you say poe defense Tab dosent show the true life regen improvements.

Is 10 good enough? The 17^+belts with life and res are like 1ex+ price tag .

Recovery is always worth it. Ideally you want t1, but if it's all you can afford and it has other affixes that you need, then get a lower tier one.
Malevolence is a crazy DPS boost.

You can keep your marble by taking "sovereignty" node in the tree and keep 3 auras.
