Yes a few leagues ago inq pious path became a powerful notable for rf. Too bad endurance charges became rather antiquated and the many builds with it.

it might be time to make a return to this game i haven't played in years
they buffed endurance charges also apparently, higher life value rolls on items, and og koam's heart is back

i took a look at his guides, multiple of them, props for pohx for sticking with rf and popularizing it for the general public, but all his builds is still zpds. why is he peddling immortal flesh belt and cloak of flame body armor unless his farming white maps

my knowledge of rf is now 2 years outdated, but some of the stuff he lists in his build guides is interesting, like those new boots that give adrenaline, punishment curse vs the traditional flamability/elemental weakness curse

alot of stuff changed, chieftain is very very strong for rf now and the wiki didn't even update the ascendency skill tree, its quite different than before, the ascendency actually suits a dedicated rf build now

juggernaut is still very very strong, i ran jugg until about t15 maps then switched to chief to try out, chief is better overall i think, on par with inquisitor from 2 years ago, might even be better than inquisitor now

juggernaut is better than chief in terms of 6x endurance charges, tempo chain maps is godlyke for jugg since temp chains is a buff for him. slightly better aoe, insane regen after you pop vaal rf your hp is back to full in less than 1 second vs a full second for chieftain. your phy dmg reduction is much better than jugg too

chieftain have a new -20fire res proximity ascendency skill, a new explode skill, and the max res is insane on chief, literally +90 max res to all, with like 300 something fire res. without any of the new busted 10div + jewels this league have.

overall my impression of this league, as a poor player with only about 20-30divs of gear without any of the new broken regular jewels, they made rf better for entry level players, but nerfed the ceiling for rf heavily, overall i think rf is nerfed mainly because it scales with hp/es now instead of via gem levels. this is what made rf so busted in the past when you can scale rf to like +28>31 levels. this is no longer a thing, prob because of simplix amulet is too busted lol, imagine +4 levels from just amulet alone.

with koams back to 1k life, all rf builds are pushing 10k + now, i myself have 11k life, making the build much easier to setup and gear, and 4/5liner gear is dirt cheap this league like per piece is half a divine or less on all gear slots except helmet

pohx is great and all but it feels like he started to loose flexibility in the way he builds his RF.


Not playing RF (and didn't since arch-rf) but i definitly want to try some str stacking rf to scale both life and ES
or try something with the new yoke of suffering
chieftain is actually cracked lol
this is my first time playing chief, the explosion on the ascendency isn't normal like the explodes you get from implicit weapons 2 years ago, this one does a crap ton of damage

check out the pob on this guy for str stacking rf, high dmg, massive shields and hp pool which equates to more rf dmg, mid armor
still kinda cracked

ive always thought str stacking before was a waste of time for a tiny small increment at 5000% the cost, but maybe now its actually viable, still, i want to try this out but i don't have enough currency, this thing requires too many niche items

aspect of carnage forbidden flame and flesh jewel is quite good, it gives you the berserker asecendency for 40% more dmg 10% more dmg taken, rf requires jewels to give up 2 for this is high cost but aspect of the carnage is just that good
