[3.0] Wand’s Guide to Wanding – Comprehensive Overview of Wanders

Never played a wander before. Went with this build in Mayhem to play a wander with VP for a last time and had a blast.





Sadly i did not manage to link my Belly in about 1k fuses, so hp is kinda low till now. But runs T11 shaped super fast. Also im to lazy to shop poe.trade to upgrade the gear further.

Wat do for 3.1?

Spec out of VP, grab Phase Acro and rely on evasion/dodge?

For the Vessel of Vinktar, it shocks you causing 50% more damage taken. Isn't that very bad or do we have shock protection somewhere?

If you are a pathfinder and using Master Alchemist you are immune to ailments such as shock during flask effect. So no downside to using Vinktar's flask.

How would you level if you were playing this build as SSF? Bow or Frost Blades?

Probably Bow (better leveling skills with LA/blast rain, you can scale the general projectile damage and stack ele dmg pretty well). Should also be less respec-heavy. Assuming you got a similar amount of leveling gear for both builds.

Going to run this build in a week. My friend will kindly play my personal aura-biatsch from lvl 1 on till i farmed enough currency for us both :D

I´m just waiting for the updated tree, as i guess that vaal pact is not a thing anymore. Hope you can do it before the league starts. I hate playing without a clear tree path to follow.

Thanks for the heads up. I just realized I was using the wrong flask (was using "adds xx to xx lightning damage to spells").

Since this Vinktar Flask shocks you increasing your damage taken by 50%, are we dependent on the lightning damage life leech to stay alive?

Pathfinder and Raider (Avatar of the Veil) are shock-immune under certain conditions (Pf: while using a flask, Raider: while phasing). Other classes have to get a "grounding" flask, the "shocked" debuff is nothing to play around with. This and MS are the reasons the two classes are as popular as they are.

*The popularity might change in 3.1 though, who knows.

The Tempests Binding helmet will not be available in this league if i understood it correctly. So the guide needs adjustment in that part too maybe besides deleting it from the list ofc.
