[3.10] Akumas Sunder - THE League Starter Budget - Can do all content.

First, thanks for the guide. :)

I started playing maybe 2 weeks ago and this is my first PoE toon ever. I've watched ZiggyD's glunder ssf stream when I was trying to learn about this game, so I specced into it without really thinking about fotm builds for 3.5 xD.

Ofc, I had no idea what to do, so your guide really helped. I'm playing SSF, made it to lvl91 so far, doing a bit of everything end game offers and I really like it.

But, when I got to high tier maps I started to get one hit killed by some bosses and/or immortal syndicate. Also, even if mobs explode really fast, single target dps felt a bit lacking. (I still need to craft really high dps axes, currently running around with 320 and 400 dps ones).

After few days of no progress, I've changed build a bit around the gear I've found to try to make it work for me, though.







Gauntlets give lvl5 conc. effect, so I can use multiple totems, basically having 5 link Vaal Ancestral Chieftain.
I dropped Faster attacks on Leap slam for Endurance Charge on Melee Stun to proc Rampage on the gloves.
Also, I'm running Hatred + Herald of purity + Dread banner. 88 mana after reservation is just enough ^^.

I'm running T11-15s with this pretty comfortably now. (maybe i made the build worse, but got better at the game in the meantime :)))

Atm, I'm debating is it worth to craft +2 socketed minion skills helmet and move Herald of purity on it and what else can I do to improve it further, so any advice is more than welcome ^^.

Yeah you now NEED two weapons of at LEAST 360pdps for endgame if one is lower you will have problems with higher levels.

You changed quite a bit with some options I THINK that are not optimal.

1. Rotgut
You get Onslaught from the tree and you don't do crits. Taste of Hate would give you much more. Same for Atziri's Promise.
2. If you want Rampage I'd rather take Biscos Leash. I used that until I got my Headhunter on Harbinger League.
3. Don't use Multiple Totems. It steals way too much of dps. Just switching to Ruthless gives you about 80% more damage.
4. Your Sunder is not 6 Linked, that takes a lot out of your damage
5. Use a Stygian Vise, the extra socket is a huge increase for whatever you need.

That's what instantly catched my eye.
Also you might wanna try to get some shaper axes with one or two mods for phys as extra elemental damage.

About one shots... That happens to everyone from the syndicate. Evade.

edit: Not using Kaom's Roots takes away a LOT of securitymeasurements

I can not say anything about console versions about playability.

With enough timeinvestment you can do all content in the game with this build. Keep in mind that the shown items are mostly for budget and without elder/shaper/synthesis items and already was able to do uberelder. If you get yourself proper shaper/elder/synth items you will do a pretty good job. It's just not your 5 quadzillion dps facetank content clearer.

Is dual Jack the axe good ? This is what I have and I will upgrade as soon as I have the currencies to replace those!
Is there something I can upgrade easily ?

Jack, the Axe is just the beginner Weapon, when you first hit the required level. At this time of the season you can get way better axes on poe.trade for a chaos. So just invest some chaos in a 400+ pDPS axe with possibly one phys as extra element modifier on it and you'll be good. Preferbly of course two of them.

Jack, the Axe is just the beginner Weapon, when you first hit the required level. At this time of the season you can get way better axes on poe.trade for a chaos. So just invest some chaos in a 400+ pDPS axe with possibly one phys as extra element modifier on it and you'll be good. Preferbly of course two of them.

There is absolutely nothing interesting for PS4 on Poe.trade but I could find 2x 360 pdps axes.

This build is so strong. I can do t9 maps without dying on a 5 links with 10 chaos invested..

I don't understand why there is no followup on this kind of build this season. It's as strong as before even with the nerfs on stat sticks.

I will try to clear all the content with !

Can't say anything about the PS4 Version.
But probs do some delving and get some fossils and try crafting a bit or try your luck on synth items, would be the best guess if you have to go "SF" because there is not much of a trading community.

But yeah, the build is fully viable. Just not OP.

Guide Updated to the new tree. (Look at the intro - Full guide will be updated once we have all infos and all needed PoB Updates)

This is one hell of a buff. While the build already could do almost all content it will now do for sure. But we lost most of our block but get more armor in return and have a bit more life on our old Harbinger Gear. If you have newer gear with some Delve Crafts or similar you will gain a LOT more life and damage.
Remember: This is just a starter guide to show with how little effort you can already do almost all content.
