" this exactly. Have a tab called chaos recipe and chuck jewlery and belts in it. Do NOT actually try to get missing pieces, it clears your clear time. Just occasionally pick up the odd gloves or boots, and only then when you know you have enough jewelry to get a few 2x chaos recipes. You can balance the acquisition rate for the necessary components by requiring varying amounts of quality on the armour/weapon items. For instance you might set helm/boot/glove to 12% and chest to 15% and 2 hand/bow to 17%.
You can also id eg leather belts, two stone ring if you are getting more belts/rings than amulets. |

" I prefer to use low level essences instead. Collect white jewelry as you go and throw low essences on them when you need specific slot. If you need for the 2c recipe, vendor five rares to get one un-ided. When night falls

" I completely forgot that I could vendor 5 id'd rares to get an unid'd XD Yeah, might have to do that with some white bases. I'd rather do un-id'd throwing away low essences by the handful than to waste alchs I don't have :P In the long-run, I do plan on dropping the chaos recipe for the most part. Just really broke yet this league, and need some start-up funds. Once this page is full, just going to full-vend it and be good I think. I do have an exalt already this league, but wary on spending it as the chaos:exalt ratio is still quite low. Rather wait to pop that until they're at least 60c to 1ex. Combat is simple.

For brand new players its a decent way to get some currency while they get used to the game and how things work. Once you get that down it's just so much better to ignore it and go. I've done 1 recipe this league thus far because I got the ascendancy for 1 extra chaos so I just did the 2C one. I've still amassed almost 3k chaos already and that's not even close to what other people have gotten via other methods. I just alch and go maps of any tier.
Not only does the recipe take up a ton of bank space, it's so tedious. Even if you just dump into tabs and do them all some day the amount of time even doing them is going to take a bunch of time. You could have run quite a few maps in that time and gotten C to drop or if lucky something of high value drops and completely offsets playing ping pong with your bank and a vendor for an hour. To each their own though. Just if you're going to do it, I HIGHLY recommend NOT doing the unid recipe. I cant tell you how many times I've gotten armor / jewelry that sold for 50+C. Really not worth it for the 2c instead unless you absolutely hate pricing stuff.
" I absolutely hate pricing stuff. I'm terrible at judging how much an item is really worth. It's not too bad when it's a unique, since that's a pretty solid price based on its rolls. It's how I made 5ex in Essence League after I got a Shav's to drop. I have decided to id stuff I no longer have room for in my chaos recipe tab though. Anything I've grabbed hasn't really sold at all though, save for a few 'meh' things I put up for a few jewellers or chromes, depending on my need at the time. Combat is simple.

" Its not tedious at all to chuck jewelery and belts in a tab and then occasionally pick up boots and gloves and hats when you know you have like 10 chaos waiting. adds all of of 3 seconds to your precious clear speed. Oh and, your advise about not doing unid is silly. You use unid bad bases for 2x chaos recipe, and ID good bases. Best of both worlds. " The bad bases of jewelry and belts is exactly what I have identified and made a ton off of many times. Even armor and weapons. They might not be able to roll t1s but getting a tie res high hp ring of any ring is gonna net you money. I guess I see you point only picking up certain things until full but I personally will never say unid is a good idea.
Better to simply save 2-3 of each type and only worry about it when you get amulets to drop... and then only when you feel like cashing them in.
