Fixing Bandit Rewards in 3.0

Got the Oak one open.
It says I have to get the amulets of Kray and Alira... they drop none.
Quest ist stuck.
Eramir won't help (says nothing..., no reset...)
Seems bugged.
I got at least 2 characters with this problem!
Quite annoying!

It's been over a month now, 5 pages and no answer. Did no one here actually contact customer support to see what they had to say?

I asked this question to support and they say: you will only be able to change or 'respec' you Bandit Choice via the use of a Book of Reform.

It would seem that we have been given the +2 skill points reward with no way of changing this for free wether we want this reward or not.

Deal with the bandits quest reward change

In regards to what op wrote he/she probably didn't count the skill points correctly or the quest is bugged.

The book of reform removing 2 skill points is to make room for another reward i assume. Never used the thing.

It would have been better if we would have been given a choice instead but it is what it is.

I assume that response from support only meant temporarily until it's fixed. GGG has made it clear that this is a known problem and is high priority.

Bandit respec/quest: problems for some characters existing prior to 3.0.0.

so it's only for some charachters. i didn't check all my charachters in standard perhaps it's working for some of them.

Thanks for posting this--at least it's been acknowledged.

This is so very broken. I even bought a Book of Reform for Eramir, and when I try to use it I get green text saying "Failed to use item: You already have Eramir's favour," which I do not have.

It would be nice if they could at least fix this on a case-by-case basis in response to a ticket.

I'm fairly new to the game, is GGG generally responsive, or should I expect this to come in months?
