[3.1] The Blinding Blizzard - Whispering Ice Berserker - Viable for Most Everything
" use a rare body armor with 90+ life. 45+ int. and some resit. I can go up to 4k6 hp at lv86. I bought this body armor with just 5c ( not 6s) U need a new rare boot too. Also find some ring with 40+ int, 50+ life, 40+ resit, it's just under 10c per item. Last edited by ngtrungkhanh#3859 on Sep 7, 2017, 12:26:01 PM

" Just use a rare chest (Int/Str), similar to the gloves/boots. " You could try looking for better boots and gloves. Your conversion jewels are all low Int, you can get 20-25 Int just from upgrading them, they are very cheap. Your Basalt flask is 1-use (32/60), get one with a higher charge reduction. " Makes sense, upgraded my jewels aswell as my flask, might change my gloves first since I just got my lab enchant yesterday (did all bosses etc without, lol, such a strong build). Thanks for the hints :)! |

I'm up to doing t15, i've done several of them twinned. Here is my gear currently. Still haven't gotten a Kaom's Heart, but I think I could clear regardless. Sitting at just over 5k hp 1.7k ES and 3.2k mana.
Trying out guardians for the first time ever some time this week, I'll pop an update when I do. |

@Kelvynn : should we not take the socket with light and cold resit? It's cost 6p with just 20 strength and some res. We can take 2 others sockets, 3 point each. + 2 int and 16% mana. We can cap resit with rare amulet, or even resit on 2 jewel.
And is 15% life better or a jew with 7% life better? ( 3 point in life or 3 point to get a socket) |
|
Why do we use Sulphur Flask btw? We can't regenerate any life, is the 40% dmg really that good? Would Atziri be better? Or just for the mix of damage and bleed removal?

" I found a cheap chest @ 3c, and crafted some new boots to balance the resists. It's a start. I have 2c left and 2 ex atm, but with ex prices as they are I'm not sure I should be using them. Anyway, I have a direction to aim for, so thanks for the advice. |

Updated gear, currently lvl84
I plan on taking more life nodes before the Witch jewel, because reaching 5k+ is a lot more comfortable. I think that beside the armour, my gear is quite good. Now the question is, what to upgrade next ? 20/20 gems will quickly cost some currencies, and I'm not sure how much it helps. Kaoms is obviously the main goal, but I'm not even half-way in terms of curencies... |

hate to break this to you but the skill trees doesnt work , keeps saying old version , the leveling trees as well

" Which sockets are you talking about? The balance between life and damage is up to you. I started feeling comfortable with survivability at 6k (i.e. stopped getting 1-shot by almost anything)and after 6.5k stopped worrying about adding more life. Initially I was just taking life nodes, but at lv 95 found myself with 7.3k life looking more like an HC player than SC. So I traded 3 small life nodes for the socket between Witch and Shadow, lost about 400 hp but gained 1k tooltip dmg. I didn't see any change in survivability, but noticed that T16 and the Shaper die faster. " Sulphur flasks with reduced charges (15/60) are good even without regen. Life flasks stop working the moment you hit full hp, which happens a lot with CiS. So when you need continuous protection against bleed/corruption, this is the best choice. And 40% increased damage is a very nice bonus. Atziri's Promise doesn't do anything with AoF ('Deal no non-fire damage'). It's an option for Standard with the legacy Pyre ring, but not the main version of the build. " Two-toned boots have an obvious flaw: if you enchant them, you lose the resist implicit mod. So don't count on those extra resists. " Works just fine here, although on some of the trees I see some message on top about 'old version' that shows for a second but then goes away. If it doesn't work for you, try reloading the page or w/e. P.S. I noticed that GGG messed around with the tree interface again, they now use '3.0.1' version of it, and the '3.0.0' trees cause that message about 'old version' even though nothing has changed. I changed '3.0.0' to '3.0.1' in all links, now they don't cause any messages. Just hope GGG doesn't make a habit of doing this often. 3rd party sites are not any better. I saved my trees from Beta with PoEPlanner links, only to see that site go down at the launch of 3.0. Last edited by Kelvynn#6607 on Sep 8, 2017, 4:26:45 PM
