Hi there,

at first: Awesome Guide! The build works very well for me, thank you!

Overall i am at the point looking for some "PoE-Theorycrafters" thoughts on how i could progress from now on item-wise. Especially if there is any greater improvement that i could get as next Milestone.

Except for the skillgems qualities that i am aware of already. Or am i already at a point where i "just" could go min-max some small step up´s?

Thank you for your help!

BTW: Magnate is for testing purposes, i Play with it and Bisco´s Leash also.

Your gear looks really solid already tbh. Not sold on the Magnate idea, a heavy belt with str rolls should be automatically better. Last upgrade would be Empower 4 in place on EDWA. Maybe some jewels though they're grossly overpriced right now. Pretty sweet staff :O

Both are well good enough. I went for the second duration cluster as it feels smooth/better playability for my preference. SRS has more uptime/don't need to spam flesh offering, vaal haste lasts a good bit longer etc.

Already felt like going over 8k+ life was starting to be a slight overkill when mapping as you don't get hit much anyways when playing SRS. I'm on SC though. If you're playing HC on the other hand, that extra bit of life is definitely nice to have.

Depends on what you value; better playability or raw survivability.

I'd like to go the full softcore route, but in T12-13 I am having survivability issues against bosses. The mobs before are fine, sometimes I get one shot from stupidity, but some of the bosses are super tough.

How do you deal with certain bosses that have damn near 1 shot mechanics. In Excavation, the light patches they put on the ground take me from full to empty in about 3 seconds & they litter the floor with it. So I have to run around like a chicken with my head cut off, trying to cast SRS a couple times & keep moving. Inevitably it leads to me running out of pots & having to hide to regen health & then get back in.

Or the Malformation boss who damn near one shots me with the channeled beam. Am I supposed to stick close & follow it around, or flame dash through it? I have 75% res, 3.5k armor & 7.5k hp currently.

Need to read the map mods, certain combinations can make certain bosses go whack. Cast speed/a.speed makes the channeled beam phase unnecessarily harder than it needs to be. For Malformation, stick close to the boss when she channels her beam and cast SRS>move>cast SRS> move> cast SRS> move until you get her down.

Are you using decoy totem and applying EE+Enfeeble curse? It really helps soak up the mob aggro + reduce their damage while you pump out your SRS. Keep moving and stay a distance is a general rule. Once the bosses lock onto the decoy, its your chance to pump out SRS and rotate your utility skills(flesh offering/EE+enfeeble/desecrate if there are no nearby corpses etc)
Thanks ariansani!

Yeah, at least i liked the effect on Leash more - the only reason i picked up magnate was due to my item Setup to get my resistances up. Empower is on it´s way - could buy one but i Level it off-Hand right now.

For Jewels...some Major hints there what i could get? I´m pretty "new", so i do understand what base stats i Need but maybe i´m missing some Jewel Type now.
Does not matter if it´s more expensive - i don´t know what to do else with all my currency - another character ...actually not planned :)
Heya!

I'm really interested in this build. The video was informative and interesting.

I'm just worried about the two deviations between the build trees. I am playing Hardcore, and I am wondering if the tankier setup is worth it over the regular build. What I mean is, is the survivability tradeoff really worth it if you want to push your character to it's limits? Sure, it's nice not getting oneshot, but running around being tanky doesn't really get you far (I feel, I've only ever reached T9 maps and never done uber lab).

Would you suggest that I try going with the regular build and just go nuts, or is the more tanky build fun and worth it as well? In that case, I might try it. I just can't make up my mind. I'm always a bit on the fence on more tanky builds. The only time I've ever ripped so far was in uber lab with a SR/RF build, and it was my own fault. I took a melee hit to the head from Izaro when I was at half health, so it was my own stupid fault.
Hi K4tz,

as far as i can tell - i myself think that, if you manage to get the DPS-Essentials, you can easily go for the tankier build. The DPS is really good, for me it just melts Bosses. It melts by so much that i think i will drop my Minion DMG nodes to get a better survivability. At least by calculations the DMG isn´t dropped very much for a very good Boost in survival.

Dead Barons do no DMG ;D

Something with a combination of Minion Dmg/%maximum life/Str or (Dex, seeing how annoying it is to get 150+ dex as a summoner...). Having all 3 on a jewel makes it REALLY expensive though so be warned haha. You can try alt/aug/regal crafting on a Cobalt jewel base for it.
Finally managed to snag a Baron last night, definitely noticed an increase in damage. Was able to do a T14 very easily, aside from stupidly dying to the end boss by not paying attention.

Anyone able to point me towards what my next upgrades should be? I have all the major pieces, now it's just about min/maxing. I realize I had my profile set to private before, so it should be viewable now, thanks!

Main goal once you have all the core pieces is level 28 SRS, the damage increase is insane.

I would suggest this order:

3 Empower (20c)
+3 Staff (200c)
21/20 SRS (125c)

4 Empower when you can afford it at about 350c

After that you probably want belly of the beast, enchanted baron and maybe movement speed rings.

64C for a 20%/3 Empower
16C for a 20%/3 Empower that is corrupted

I currently have 3 empower gems levelling in my off-hand, but that is going to take a while. I might just bite the bullet & buy a corrupted 20%/3 for now & use it until the off-hand ones are levelled & use a Vaal on em.

The +3 staff is definitely what I want, but I don't have that kind C right now. I've been running T8-12 maps constantly & barely gotten any drops in the past 3-4 days, while my buddy has made like 600C, RNG hates me. So I will probably just keep leveling my masters, until I can get them to 8 & then try & craft one myself. If not, maybe find something in the mean time & get lucky & just buy one.

As for SRS, I have 2 level 19's right now, so I'm going to wait until they are 20 & then Vaal them & hope I get lucky. Obh 7 as for the Baron enchant, I can just run lab & hope to get lucky right?
Cause a Baron with an SRS enchant goes for a LOT of C.

Any tips on the quickest way to level gems? Empower & level 20 on regular gems is such a pain in the ass.

When leveling gems just make sure your empower is qualitied up. It takes a LONG time and there isn't really a way around it aside from buying one.

Labbing for baron isn't something I'd recommend I think the amount of time spent labbing would be better spent farming maps and just buying one but you might be luckier than me.

Baron enchant isn't that high priority anyway it's just something you can do if you have spare $ and want to really min-max. It costs alot more than +3 stuff and won't give you nearly as big a buff.

Have you converted your non chaos currencies to chaos? You might be surprised at how much $ you have. I reached 400 fusings without realizing a few days ago and got nearly 200c from that.
