I'm assuming you're new.
During a new expansion, they make league's specifically dull (or, easy) so it's not to much for players to "learn", or new players to struggle.
This has been said many times in the past, and just prior to this launch. They "said" they won't ever do a in-depth league at the start of a new expansion.
The rewards, sure, could be better. but the league itself, doubtful.

without temp leagues they would be forced to MAKE a proper game, so the exact opposite of dead. standard is the ONLY thing that needs to exist, everything else is temporary and therefore useless. it could be the building stone of a proper permanent game, if it wasn't for wilson

In opposite, exalted shard are exciting to me, an SSF player lacks of exalted orbs.
Chaos et Regal shards are not necessary, it's already very easy to get chaos/regal with the recipes.
Really hope exalted shards will come to standard, for standard SSF players (i am).

This game become joke last few years, Pokemon online is something in hardness for PoE. Struggle on quest content? Rlly?
But next time just use brain before throw some nonsense using keyboard, all support packs are around leagues, so yes this game don't exists without leagues and leagues become tra$h lately with same decent tra$h rewards.
