The Harbinger Challenge League

Yeah, not going to play this until after the first two weeks or so.

I work 10 hours a day and I play POE sparingly. While I appreciate challenging myself by starting fresh on this league I don't want an avalanche of yellow "Player x is the first to arrive" texts while my exile is just barely waking up on the Twilight Strand.

Sticking to standard league and letting my old characters finish the new acts in the meantime - that is until GGG implements a feature to block the yellow messages and give busy players like myself a moment of privacy.

Its fine if they just came from vendors like alc shards (and to be fair, mirror shards are kind of sweet) but this is just too much clutter.

We already don't have enough place in the currency tab and this gives us what, 14 more currency slots? Especially for newer players I see this as kind of overwhelming - at least if you want to stay F2P.


I like the harbinger idea and it looks pretty nice. Though no armor set for 36, really?

Really? This is your only reason for that? Seeing people being the first to get into zones / reaching levels? It's not like your whole screen gets spammed by it.

it is an extremely annoying thing that cannot be turned off, for NO REASON.

All i see is greed and more greed.

A new league, which seems exactly like what we had(breach, perandus, you name it). More items(shards) to make everyone buy more stash tabs. The rewards are just lame, like glowing eyes on an ARPG where you can't see the face of your char unless you max zoom in. No one can play or should play the game like that EVER. I just can't wait for glowing underwear, where you won't be able to see it unless you play Templar. Why not create a more complex league with some other rewards like pieces of an armor set, hideout decorations etc.

I bet next week we will have more of the same "grind 12437243 hours challenges". I mean why should they make hard challenges(like kill uber atziri SOLO or something else like that), make people grind 1000000000 map tiers. They should (and soon will) start selling bots so you can complete the league challenges in time. I stopped going for 40 challenges exactly because of this idea of making the game A GRIND, not harder(in the good way).

They released the new Fall of Oriath supporter packs while the update was in beta and now when the update launches, we have new packs - the league ones. If this is not greed...

Anyway, thank you GGG for the great game, still 100 times better than Diablo 3 or any other ARPG atm, but it could have been a lot better if not for the growing greed. I guess i will play it for 1-2 weeks, then stop for good.

At 24, you receive the Harbinger Crown Effect. When you complete your 36th challenge, you receive the Harbinger Character Effect.

Screen please? Aura is which one? Another one is what exactly? Nice that the coolest effect is just for 12 challenges and rest (probably) suck :P Red eyes for 7$ is a joke, so let's stick with the blue. Would be nice to give us more colors later (at least white, purple, yellow and black).

Oh boy, now i feel really sad that i am out of town when 3.0 hits :(
