" If this item doesn't work with Vaal Pact giving INSTANT ES LEECH, than this item is USELESS! With all negative aspect of this item you have to constantly LEECH ES to counter lose of ES per second! It is doubtful for CI characters because you start with ZERO ES, and useless if it doesn't work with Vaal Pact. So it leaves Hybrid or Pure life build. Hybrid: With ES pool nerf on items and Discipline, investing passive nodes in both life and es nodes, you won't have any damage nodes! For pure life builds you get 4% of life as ES, but RARE belt with +HP +resistance +other affixes will be better than this! One more interesting way to use it is Eldritch Battery, but i doubt that any will make some useful out of it, because of position of this Keystone in Tree. As i understand in 3.0 you can't INSTANT LEECH ES by any means, so unless this items works with Endless Hunger it truly useless! If you think otherwise please tell me you thoughts in which build/case this item will be more useful!? Last edited by CBEToffOP#6515 on Jul 25, 2017, 7:27:41 AM

Rarely have I seen a unique where I immediately want to clamor for buffs, but Ahn's Might is a really terrible item shown here unless it has "hidden" rolls or the one shown here is rolled abysmally.
Ahn's Heritage is a cool, balanced shield that allows tanky builds easy access to onslaught at a small-ish cost, or builds that don't use endurance charges +3 max res. Both these options are pretty cool and it's not impossible to think of builds/scenarios where you would want both in different scenarios. It has a solid amount of armor and life, and its downside is very manageable, considering a full block build will probably gravitate to Aegis, Surrender, or another similar shield. To put it simply, it's a good unique conceptually and it's balanced appropriately. Ahn's Might shares very little besides the visual theme (which I do appreciate) and theme with -1 max charge, oscillating bonus on full/no charge. But there are immediate problems: in Ahn's Heritage, non-block builds don't much care about the block cap, so it's secondary downside wasn't crippling. Movement skills, however, are used by nearly every build and the attack movement skills are by far the best, especially for those builds that naturally stack attack speed. It also has a third drawback, the strength requirement, which I suspect was added for flavor, but would be a serious concern for builds outside of Duelist, Marauder, and Rangers traveling through those areas. Its oscillating benefits aren't nearly as powerful as Ahn's Heritage despite its drawbacks being much more serious; Crit multiplier is difficult to utilize on a 5% base weapon that isn't Varunastra, and 15% aoe is very minor, whereas Onslaught/3% max res are usable on nearly every build that exists. For the final nail in the coffin, its base stats are also nothing impressive whereas Ahn's Heritage were quite decent. It boasts a bit more DPS than Scaeva, with major drawbacks and without *any* of the upsides that Scaeva offers besides maybe the crit multiplier. I understand that not every unique should be GG and I didn't expect Ahn's Might to destroy nearly all other swords with no downsides, but as it stands it's worse than cheap rares with absolutely crippling downsides and very lukewarm benefits. It'll be used as a skin transfer once it gets 3d art and that's about it, hopefully any prospective Ahn item affecting power charges (chest, for glorious 3d art I'd hope) is better balanced. |

Time to get some skin transfers.

The whole board looks like a pen for unimaginative crybabies ....this does not bode well.
Very interesting unique ideas. Many fresh, fun builds are forming. I love the thought process of creating new builds so much. Good job GGG. |

I have a question:
When you have any kind of damage DoT receive (for example: Blood Rage, or standing on Caustic Cloud ). And you Have Life regeneration which covers this received damage. In such cases it is mathematically counters each other regen + degen = +. And in such case it still count as FULL LIFE? Because in some stream i see that life pool shows life 7988/8012, and this number doesn't go +/-, and this streamer playng Slayer with Endless Hunger! Or it is just visual effect of constant Degen and Regen (leech)? |

" Ah, your right its garbage. I though it roll up 400pdps. Its only up to 300pdps. |

Helmet: stacking dex for a minion build is bad enaugh, str gives live at least. and IF you think about queen of the forest your minions cant even deal the killing blow. lol.
armour: look worse than a rare with life. looks like a totally unreliable combo of life/es/evasion, where you are left with 5,5k life and get 1-shot. belt: nice idea, looks very vulnerable to random 1-shots where all you have is your life and not that es that you have to invest into. weapon: maybe useful, because crafting rare weapons is against the basic idea of poe. |

" yes, that's how uniques were ever introduced (apart from some absolute op stuff that's intended as long term goal for players to get): they seem to have useless mods which get powerful when interacting with stuff that gets released later (and visa versa). age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!
