Weekly Beta Report Six

I know, I asked that many times before... but how the hell can you deal damage with poison?
I tried my builds with poison with "all in" (non crit) and it was utter crap, no way to play that.

So, what game are you playing? Poison needs a big buff, not a nerf. It's dead.

I mean everyone already thinks poison is dead, what else can you do but just remove it from the game? What combination of items or skills are granting this power you see that we don't??

Very much this. Please point us to a beta build that has anywhere near 2 million dps primarily through poison. Because it sounds like you're just making this up. Poison isn't useable anymore.

You mistrust GGG who got the actual data? This is like the right who call CNN fake news.

CNN shares the data with us. GGG is not some big government and thus has no real reason to even have a concept of classified information, which is the only time news orgs don't share raw data. GGG doesn't even have to share a source--they can post a copy of the build, right here on the forum, and we can verify with math that it is as overpowered as they claim. That's the difference between news orgs' anonymous sources (which are independently verified) and what GGG is doing right now.

GGG is claiming that people are actually *making* overpowered poison builds, with no evidence posted at all. The only poison builds I've seen that reach anywhere near "millions" of DPS in beta are the ridiculous single-target viper strike builds that have no survivability (whereas, the claim by Qarl was that they "weren't sacrificing defenses", lol)--and even then, path of building seems to sometimes overestimate beta damage with no explanation.

If you can link me to one op beta poison build with good defenses, I will shut up and accept it. As it is, GGG seems to be getting their data from reddit users making bad builds in Path of Building.

I don't know if someone else do feel things this way, but when I red for the changes - I was happy, but when I've red the entire thread - I am about to leave this game. I'm still newbie in this game, but as more as I've read for those nerfs, more I want to stop playing it.
Sorry GGG, but really I'm still unable to find any buffs you offered, but nerfs.
Sorry for my english

Regards

Don't worry too much about people posting complaints/asking for changes, especially on a beta post. The game itself is still great, even with all those changes alot of builds will still be playable/viable, including the new skills that 3.0.0. brings. GGG never really discusses upcoming buffs until the release patch notes, so most feedback will be on the announced nerfs.

The reason I posted my complaints/thoughts on 3.0.0. is to hope the feedback gets taken into consideration before 3.0.0. is released, as it is still in beta. So many things can still change.

But overall, the game is still awesome, and hopefully it will remain that way! So, just play :)

Lab side quests were always pointless in the past - even getting the little bobbles that make the izaro pre-fights easier was more hassle than it was worth.

They'll have to buff the total hell out of silver chests to make them worth the bother. And the various caches/shrines as well (I only ever bother with them if I happen to stumble across them - they're never a purposely sought goal).

Random chests in the lab should roll completely different effects than those found anywhere else, with random corrupted chests, essence chests (spawns essence monsters, contain essences), breech chests. Things like this, to make them distinct from the standard fare encountered outside the lab.

Uber lab rewards need to be tuned DOWN however, while risk is tuned UP. Way up.
Patch Notes 3.15:
Fixed a bug where players believed the game was playable. This has been corrected and made retroactive.
Patch Notes 3.19:
Fixed a bug where players adapted to 3.15. This bug cannot be corrected, so we have implemented a 90% reduction in item access as a punishment.
Hi.

How do you plan to match Caustic Arrow damage?
You nerf the drillneck and still destroy the "global" DoT option in the perk, close to the Duelist (Dirty Techniques). Trickster was greatly harmed only by Drillneck's nerf, with Dirty Techniques' DoT Global override, you almost destroyed the build ...
Destroy shore's also. Let those boys cry also then.
Thank You finally word on the MTX ! Lab sounds very good too !
So, we still need to do the labyrinth 4 times? *smh*
Make "% increased effect of Flasks" only work with the basic part of Flasks, that would fix it.

My praises and concerns:

1) Love the lab changes! (Length of stages) I have always looked at the Lab like going to the Doctor, I dread the waiting room, but am relieved when my appointment is over. The Lab is so much more enjoyable now, and fast! (Give me my Ascendancy's and Enchants, thank you sir!)

2) Please don't NERF bleed! (it so needs a BUFF somehow) Poison I somewhat understand, but cutting off the the head of snake kills the snake. Poison is a great ailment, and not all players reach 100. Most of us hit somewhere around 90, then start a new toon. I think just by removing double dipping will manage the poison meta builds anyway.

3)My concern about balance changes to Unique flasks...These Flasks: Vinktars, Dying Sun, Sins Rebirth, Kiara's, Witchfire, Taste of Hate, etc. These flasks, are truly GG flasks, and they should be. You labor to have them and you should get to earn their benefits. They keep their value because they are so good. (please leave them alone) The Wise Oak, an awesome addition to the game is strong, (and affordable) but also useful to new players, great flask to aid for leveling. (leave it alone) The other (junk) unique flasks, need some love, these please balance up!

4)Shaped Strand meta? Why? People (like myself) worked a lot of hours to shape our Atlas this way, the Strand is just linear, its popular cause of its ease of play. Were not abusing it, were enjoying it! Honestly I have not really got that rich farming Shaped Strands, they are just a safe place to level, with a good return of experience. (not everyone camps out on Tier 15-16 maps!)

5) Ready to see the new MTX system!

6) Baited for Friday! (lets have that release date!)

Thx GGG for the update, we are all hyped!
