PoE life pool is so wrec't and soon ES will be to. Where's the solution?

I think you are forgetting that red maps, uber, shaper etc. are not suppose to be done by a casual. You are not able to play 4 hours a week and kill shaper, as these things are put into the game for players who dump 30+ hours a week minimum. This game has already gotten way to casual. Reading your post I would say your level of experience/investment should max out at a level 80 character but you are already lvl90. This goes to show how much GGG has already given up to casuals. Remember, this is a HARDCORE ARPG not pansy crap such as d3.

This might be true for streamers and traders, who have access to every single item in the game with ease...

Everyone else, was already struggling as there was no six link armor with 600+ ES, that they did not find the super ES helmet or shield with 300+ or had to use the old +2 summoner items, that did not even have ES.

I often hear stories of how easy it all has become, but to me, the game is very tough, as I have to overcome all the challenges by a lot of patience and luck. Without the zombie gem drop, I would not have cleared T 15 twin maps and without further drop luck, shaper or any uber content, will be undoable, as these guys there, just laugh about my 6k ES summoner with pet´s that just die in every single AOE that hits them. :)

I think you may have transferred some of the OP's qualities to my post, which kinda makes sense, especially since there's no non-verbal communication in written text and you can't detect the absolute lack of whining in my post. OP regularly makes me want to bite the keyboard too, that much I understand.

I've seen a single white zombie oneshot a buddy of mine at 6k hitpoints twice in a row in a Waterways map. We specifically tried it as it was fucking absurd. I've also been oneshot by a single viper, a ranged mob, twice in a row at 5k hitpoints. Admittedly, low chaos resist, but hey, that's pretty much the state of most players most of the time.

And even apart from that, mobs routinely hit for 3-4k, so even with a high evasion/dodge/block build you pretty much need to be out of luck ONCE and have two mobs score a hit at the same time, and you're toast.

The reason this rarely happens is that everyone and their mother is oneshotting all the trash mobs.

Anyway, if all the planned beta changes go live as they are right now, it'll be mostly a buff for the types of builds I like to play. I have absolutely no personal issue with it. I just disapprove on general principle.
You have to be realistic about these things.

Is the PoE chinese version has mob's dps tone down or sth?
The problem remains. No matter what they do. You NEED life on all gear to still get oneshot. It's the most important stat after maxing resistances. When you equip a rat's nest, you lose life. When you slap on maligaros gloves, you lose life.

Even if all rare gear has high amounts of life, if you build ranger or shadow your around 5k-5.5k life unless you spend 20 ish points to get the scion lifewheel. Which puts you to 6-6.5k range

In order to 'fix' this game, they need armour and evasion to actually work. The explanation given of how armour works realistically is absurd in a game where my character can flicker strike, shoot balls of lightning from their hands, or cyclone until the cows come home without getting dizzy.

Armour and Evasion needs to work MUCH better for life to have the buff it needs instead of turning it into another ES situation. The only nerf ES may have needed was a leech nerf or the numbers leech.

And if the game is slowed down to a crawl like early leveling, I will be one to go. I only like this laggy mess because its fast and fun and crunching enemies at alarming rates.

I don't understand why some of you little girls cry about nerf nerf nerf. It doesn't affect me if someone wants to tank shaper all day with 20k ES. I just want life to be buffed by reworking evasion and armour to actually matter.
