[3.0] WanderFinder Under 1ex Guardians/Shaper no problem.

Yeah, you are pretty smart to realize it is for 2.6 after only get to 42 :S

I had wasted the time to get to 81 and got myself bunch of gears, realized I kept dying , then compare to all these and found out this is a scam for 3.0 pretty much. :(

My newbee life, lol. R.I.P
I'm having a great deal of luck with it. However, at the top gem slot; I used an Intuitive Leap to get me into the Lightning Wheel at the very top (bottom 4 nodes) and it gets me into "Blast Radius." Further, I went into Arcing Blows and Crackling Speed and got everything in there. I further went into the entire Static Blows node.

I do ridiculous DPS. Most everything doesn't even get to get onto the screen. I pop Vinktars + Dying Sun and it's just ridiculous dps...all day, every day. Can't remember the last time that I died.

The life is low, however; like 3400-3700 or so (depending on gear). May need get more life gear, but I haven't needed it thus far. I'm constantly swapping nodes and such, trying to figure out something that might work for higher level stuff. I'm able to handle T13-14 maps, no problem---however, I'm still leveling so I'm not boss-fighting, to be honest. Just rolling through maps and leveling up for now.

yeah I have no problem in maps either......... but if you can't handle T10 - T12 bosses, like they one shoot you, what's the point pushing the build further ?xD

I totally agree with your point---however; when I level any character, I never, ever fight bosses.
I hate friggin' losing XP, so I don't even bother risking it. Further, I don't open breaches or open boxes in tight quarters. Usually, if I do hit a box, I hit my speed potion and run the hell away and THEN turn around and obliterate everything.

I do agree with the basis of what you're saying--I just haven't bothered to check it out yet.

If you are being one shot:

Level more,
1. Level 81? highly doubt your gems are maxed. Huge DPS boost from maxed gems.
2. More health! More levels means more Life nodes, you should have at least 5K health for bosses.
3. More defense. Drop leaches (Void Vitality) these should come from Vinktar flask, and get Phase Acrobatics. 40%dodge chance and 30% spell dodge are huge as it helps prevent being multiple chain hit killed which is probably what most of your "one-shot kills" actually are.
4. More damage! Faster kills means less damage taken. Pickup Wandslinger for 40% more damage.
5. Span those potions. You are looking to have 100% up time on ALL potion. Build is focuses around always having potions up and working. HUGE HUGE HUGE. Something most newer people overlook (I was).

As many have said, this is no longer a 1ex, build. Wanders have become metas so everyone want similar gear. Cheap but useable gear for this build is now probably about 3ex or 250chaos. Flat lightning damage and HIGH health on all you gear, as those two stats are still cheap. elemental resistance capping is also huge. I used a WiseOak flask, up 100% of the time, to cap all resistances while gearing/leveling.

Final Note:
This build is so NOT a hardcore build. You will die ALOT at higher levels, unless you spend big $$$ on top end gear. We sacrifice tankyness for DPS and speed, while hoping dodge saves us. Some time you get unlucky and just don't dodge...

I agree with everything he just said. It's important to have 20/20 gems. It's important to have a really good wand. My wand isn't great (I found it), but it does a great deal of damage:

Storm Barb Imbued Wand
19% Spell Damage
25% Increased Spell Damage
Adds 13-162 Lightning Damage
Adds 28-47 Fire Damage
103% Crit Chance for Spells
19% Crit Strike Chance
9% Increased Attack Speed

Not perfect by any stretch; but it does pretty damn good for now. I know that I'm not using spells per se, but everything else (high lightning and IAS) are decent. Plus, it keeps me from having to buy a ridiculous wand.

To get to phase acrobatics, you're going to have to sacrifice 6-7 nodes of advancement. It will hurt your end-game dps, but as he mentioned---it's going to prolong your life by quite a bit. I'm saving my last 6-7 nodes for Phase Acrobatics.

I highly recommend getting to at least level 90 for endgame, it's piss easy getting to 90 on a Wander just doing T10~ maps, even faster if you do beachhead rotations, you'll get a lot of base health from levels and a ton of points you can use for hp or even more damage. My final tree has 171% life.

A lot of people like other layered defenses like evasion, dodge, Acrobatics etc, there's lots of options gear/tree-wise.

Although the guide is not up to date the build is still great, just need to figure out your gearing and balance HP and resists, the gearing doesn't cost much. Great farming/bossing build for SC.

Yeah; I'm really unsure my wand works for anything other than IAS and Added Lightning Damage; as everything else seems to be for SPELLS and my Kinetic Blast (which I use for almost everything) and my Barrage (for single-target) are both ATTACKS and not spells.

So, yeah...I could eventually do with a better wand; but most decent wands are 3ex++ and are pretty ridiculous right now. I think I'd want global crit, ele damage, added lightning damage, and % lightning damage; but the chances of such a drop have got to be ludicrously low.

Further---I didn't see anyone mention Pantheon choices. What is the consensus for what Pantheon choices we should make?

Piscator's wand is a Good cheap wand for a few c. Crit , Attack speed, and 100% elemental works great with flat Lightning be stacked on most items.

I like the Soul of the Brine King to reduce stun locking/Soul of Tokuhana as minor. I haaven't really looked into what is best, just picked what I liked.
You can look at my wander tree, I made some changes to his build for 3.0 which I think improve it by getting acrobatics/phase acrobatics.
