The numbers are better (not a whole lot better, but better) only if all flasks are up all the time, but as we know, one of the main points of Pathfinder is not just Flask Effects, but also Flask duration and charges gained, for end game bosses where flasks will not be sustained raider is probably a bit better due to maintaining frenzy charges w/out effort.

If your stuck with a 5-link chest (I've had appalling RNG in the 2-week league at the moment), what's the gem/skill you go without for the Barrage setup?

" We are in 2.6 now, the next league starting in about a week or so is 3.0 - currently this build in 2.6 is just outstanding for a league starter, race build and as an end-game currency sink for amazing quality and high cost versions of all the gear. Once you farm up a nice pile of currency with the cheap version of this build, It's capable of doing everything in the game, stomping end-game bosses and is still one of the fastest clearing builds around all at the same time. Currently the build is only a fraction different now than it will be in 3.0 with the new changes made so far in the 3.0 beta (Primarily you get less life & crit from nodes, but get it back on gear due to life roll changes & less need for energy shield). This could all change though later today when a HUGE amount of balance changes to skills, gems, jewels, enemy XP and flasks are put in place. |

Beta changes were just made. They were fairly brutal.
The dev's didn't release details of what was changed, so changes noticed so far just after 30min of trying to figure things out indicate: Alchemist node nerfed, Dying Sun flask no longer gives extra projectile, Basalt Flask for phys damage mitigation was nerfed, Diamond flask is only 1 use per charge (nered hard), Atziri's flask nerfed, Wise Oak completely nerfed, Vinktar flask nerfed, The entire Assassin ascendancy nerfed to beyond useless, DOT damage nerfed.
