Are Dx9 options going to be removed in 3.0?

Shadows on drastically reduce my performance, and you cannot turn them off in Dx11. It will be a shame if I have to give up on this great game because devs don't want to leave more options to players...

If DX9 is removed than it will be one of the biggest mistakes done as their dx11 is really bad.

I doubt DX9 will be removed in 3.0. I assume that's just a rumor unless someone can confirm?
Currently DX11 is buggy, specifically with multiple monitors. I will certainly be pissed if DX9 is removed when the DX11 bugs still exist. And this would hinder operation on other operating systems such as Linux, which work right now (with some tweaking). Id have to find a new game. I really dislike shadows too, florida in july, i dont need my card running +30c
