Eye Strain Reduction Tips?
Hi all! Branables, I have the situation almost on 100 percent is similar to yours only here a spectrum of games another. Since my youth, I began to notice that my eyes begin to hurt after the screen of the monitor, but still continued to play. Then I did not get into all these details with a twist and as a result I put him to 14 years :(
During the university, the problem worsened (again I had a lot to sit at the PC). Now, at the behest of the case, I work in the office and I also sit 8 hours (and even more) near the PC. The pain sharply worsened. You are right, the color scheme greatly cuts eyesight and even spoils it. The source of the stimulus is blue. Monitors can not transmit it quite naturally for perception and our eyes think that while you are sitting at the PC it is a deep evening. Therefore, it is constantly in tension and the retina is destroyed. Over time, you react with pain to all shades of blue light (saving lamps) and it hurts to look at you in the twilight (personally, in men like this). To escape this can be one way - to reduce the impact of blue. There are two ways to do this. One you guys already prompted - the program f.Lux. I use it, there are no complaints and my eyes really get tired less. Second, buy protection computer glasses. They also remove the tone of light and as for me are slightly more effective but not as convenient as f.Lux (they need to get used to them). You can unite these two options. I have recently noticed an intensifying amount of eye strain as well, so I´ve gotten a Chrome Addon
called Dark Reader that turns every site it´s on to a dark mode. I just downloaded FLUX and I´ll look into buying the glasses as well. Eye strain is a real problem. |

" This may sound strange but you may be sitting too close to the screen. I sometimes get terrible eye strain (bad enough that it makes me feel ike throwing up) and looking at far off objects and sitting further from the screen makes me feel better. |

" We were told to do this in graduate school for safety training actually. I can vouch for this working as well, but adjusting the screen so that it is more red (less blue) can do a good job to supplement this. Last edited by DurianMcgregor#7045 on May 30, 2018, 7:54:52 AM
