[3.0] Berserker BLS Shaper Farmer on a Budget - Millions of BALLS, DPS and INFO Inside! - VP, RT, US

I've updated the main post.

• I leveled to 96 this week so updated the tree.
• Upgraded a little bit of gear, so updated defense and offence pics, DPS estimates, etc.
• I use Doedre's Elixir instead of a quicksilver flask. It makes it easy to proc the savage hit bonuses against shaper and basically gets rid of problems with ele reflect rares. I have plenty of mobility with leap slam (swapping to brightbeak+prismatic if I need to do more than a few hops).
• I've replaced the 2nd Inertia jewel with a rare. A decent 4-stat rare gives more DPS and frees up a +30 dex node on the tree.
• Added an Uul-Netol video.

Awesome build, can't wait to try it.

Can BLS be used while leveling, right from lvl 28?
Also, you wrote that this one doesn't rely on double dipping, so maybe there is a chance it can be still viable in 3.0 :) Having said that I bet there is going to be a plethora of new builds to try once 3.0 comes out.

Can you please just tell me how the hell did you get 499% of atackspeed modifier, and i with almost (at least AS skills and itens) the same build dont even get 200%, i just cant understand!

Playing around with your build, and I'm having fun :)
What I noticed: I have Pain Reaver / Cloaked in Savagery and Molten Strike's balls do not seem to leech life for me. Tested by hitting the gound before a mob and letting my balls hit it in the face (hehe). No life leeched. Am I missing something? Hitting the mobs directly does leech.

Do you have vaal pact?

Also my question is, why do we use orb of storms rather than just casting flammability and opening up more slots?

Make sure you select molten strike. Your image is for the default attack. For comparison, I have 4.1 APS on default attack. I've stacked a decent amount of attack speed on the tree and on jewels. I also use Haste.

On Molten Strike itself, multistrike gives 94% more APS, so you should have 5.8 APS with it. That's decent, but you'll find the build works a lot better if you can stack a bit more attack speed. You could use faster attacks, but it provides less DPS than other options like fire penetration.

Outside of T16 bosses and Shaper, we don't need to curse at all. For those fights, you get a nice pause between boss phases that gives you time to setup the fight. While Shaper is arguing with Zana, this gives a chance to place a totem and drop orb of storms. Once he becomes active, we can then immediately start attacking him instead of doing no damage (and no leech) for the 0.37s it takes to cast the curse. For the adds phase, OoS keeps recasting for us as we deal with many waves of mobs appearing.

Also, Orb of Storms only costs 23 mana but the curse itself costs 51 mana. Not a huge deal, but with 69 unreserved mana, it can be the difference between being able to curse or not and between being out of mana for the next molten strike attack or not.

That said, you could certainly manually cast it if you prefer doing so. You'd be able to add some vaal skills, add vengeance (moar leech!), add another high level CwDT spell, buff your totem, etc.

Your tree and gear look fine.

What's your tooltip attack speed modifier on molten strike (not default attack or some other skill) in hideout with haste, a lightning golem, and an ancestral protector totem?

What gems are you using?
