YOU MORONS CRYING FOR AUCTION HOUSE DIDNT SEE D3
Don't understand why people keep thinking that D3 failed because of the AH system... it was always the game itself that sucked. There was no theorycrafting involved in builds and next to any builds to begin with. This is also why PoE is a success. There are so many ways to build characters in this game outside of maybe the final bits of content.
The only difference between poe.trade and D3 AH is 5-10 minutes. You can search on poe.trade just like you could on D3 but you have to go through some process people call "Player Interaction" to recieve your item. I don't believe that they will ever cave in and do an instant AH. They seem pretty sure of that. But they could add an instant AH and limit they amount of items people can put up. They could even make it cost lesser currency to put up these items. |

" AH without RMT works. poetrade is AH in basic form, just no offline trading. Trade chat is 100% useless. You gotta contact at least 30 sellers before you get a response. Trading is risky as well because of scammers. Offline trading is very beneficial for people who are at work or occupied on something else. Feedback to GGG: Add AH. Don't be a noob. Don't use D3 AH as example. If they did, they are noobs. Set AFK timer for those AFKers who are just there...for no reason. Last edited by moedexter#5239 on Apr 8, 2017, 12:30:11 PM

" Did you know PoEtrade does the same thing? Whatever price you set it to will be in order from top to bottom in search result and same goes for poetrade currency...*points at you* NOOB! |

D3 rmah: made hundreds upon hundreds of succulent dollares.
Anyyyyyyy other game with an ah or AFK offline bazaar with instant sells I thought was a huge success. What you also have to be accompanied with for set types are at least 30 day history of item sold showing highest sale and lowest. |

" "rich?" $500-$2000? How poor are you people? I made about $2500 of RMAH nice pocket change but a 1 bedroom apartment is $2500 a month where I live. Hardly rich. All told I made about 75 cents an hour playing D3.. Thats like some third world income. OP no one said anything about a RMAH. The gold AH had way less scams than this POS trade system where fraud is rampant and people come in and steal maps etc. Git R Dun! Last edited by Aim_Deep#3474 on Apr 8, 2017, 1:05:31 PM

honestly was not expecting a poster who knew the distinction between "their" and "there".
some good points in this thread from the pro side. some bad points in this thread from the pro side. (bad as in "inaccurate" not as in "reasons not to have AH"). ("The only difference between poe.trade and D3 AH is 5-10 minutes." No, bro. That is not the "only difference". Far !@#*ing from it. Offline trading and prevention of ppl changing their price at the last minute come to mind.) no good points in this thread from the anti side. I don't want to get into this whole mess of a discussion as ultimately it's up to GGG to do what they want to do. But there were enough "pro-AH" ppl in this thread that I just wanted to say "yes, I am basically one of you and I support a more automated, less cumbersome trading system than what we have now". the devil's in the details but I'm more "pro-AH" than I am "anti-AH". |

I never played the Diablo games. I've never used Poe trade websites either. But I've played plenty of games with in-game, automated trading systems (AKA Auction Houses), and they've all had better trading experiences than what we see present in PoE. That's enough proof to me, that trade would be better WITH a version of an Auction House, than its current state.
The fact that this game advertises new league starts with "fresh economies" as a major selling point, is another nail in the coffin of the current economy, and the joke of standard's economy. This massive social experiment has failed in my eyes. 2 biggest benefits of an Auction House type system: Instant Buyouts: prevent price manipulation (can't price low but never sell, just to make the price appear to be as low as you've listed. No convenient "oh it already sold, sorry." lies in the cases of false manipulation listings.) Offline and Asynchronous trades: allow people who have jobs or play other games too, to list and sell items when they're not playing the game. Also allows people to remain in their activities while they're in the game, not requiring them to stop mapping, or abandon a labyrinth run, or switch leagues, just to make a chaos orb. Those 2 benefits alone would be enough reason, to me, to implement it here. Until there's in-game trade tools like this, I'll stay SSF. |

" I only see a moron that is not able to see the difference between an auction house and a real money auction house! German saying: Schönheit und Funktionalität in Sekundenschnelle zu ruinieren, ist dem wahren Dilettanten keine Herausforderung!
torturo: "Though, I'm really concerned, knowing by practice the capabilities of the balance team." top2000: "let me bend your rear for a moment exile" |

At first I was like maan fuck the AH, but then I learned to love the AH, then made my first billion gold and then they killed it.
I am currently learning to love poe.trade. Second-class poe gamer

" It wouldn't have mattered, Auction Houses always ALWAYS end up being a more efficient way of getting rich than, you know, actually playing the game. At least with PoE.trade you have to be sitting at your computer to trade with people because the computer won't do it for you |
