One problem with introducing new skills is the animations have to be done for each of the classes. That's expensive. Your suggestion would require every skill to be re-animated for the guardian as well. Not likely to happen without major work being done.

I didn't know. Only dicked with the guardian and it didn't remind me of the Templar. Wonder what would happen if you socketed a guardian gem in that.
