[2.6] LHC Rank #17 - Righteous Fire - Juggernaut
Btw, I'm currently doing Demigod's RF Chieftain and pondering to switch here. However with the two Kaom rings it seems very hard to get resis overcapped to 169%.

Hey, great build guide, just a question: but what kind of weapon should I use before 75 (doryani)? Thanks in advance.
edit: also, what about flasks? Last edited by Pheu#6096 on May 6, 2017, 10:43:16 AM

hey nice build bro very interested to try it out. Any changes i could make as a sc player to get more damage?

" Replace the Kaom rings with rings crafted using http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Deafening_Essence_of_Anger. Those give 31-35% increased fire damage. In addition if the rings also have more life on them, it will incease damage more and same goes for strength. You'll lose 2 endurance charges and endurance charges won't supply so much regen.... |
|
So I've been running this build in SC and I'm also looking to get more damage out of it. I deff don't think dropping the Kaom's Rings is negotiable as I feel that the endurance charges and regen is the core of this build and why we opt to go Juggernaut (the synergy is too good). Instead I've opted to shift around the passive skill tree a bit and opt out of some of the health nodes for more damage, also opting to take more damage focused jewels instead of focusing on Chaos resist. I've found Jewels with +max life still but also +fire damage + Damage over time and +area damage. for a whopping 35% damage per jewel! And with the path I took in the skill tree I'm also picking up an extra jewel slot towards the top.
Below is the skill tree I've been playing with I think it adds a tremendous amount of damage while still keeping us very healthy on the Health side. This is also coming from a Standard League mindset where we have access to the jewels I described above and things like a Legacy Kaom's that more than makes up for the lost health nodes. The tweaked build: https://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAABAEBAAHcAecDdQSzBS0GDgbGCfYLYQxfDjwSaRLhFCAUTRRxFm8WuxccGFYYahiRGjgaVRpsHKcc3B0UHxgkqicvJ-0o-i3SLlM26DbpOlI8BTwtPfxBh0WdR35QR1H7U1JTpVgHWGNZ812kXwRfP2EhZKNlTWebaGVodGjycXlyqXTtdqx4L3zlggeCx4Nfg8yE2YTvjM-PGo9GkFWRK5HOmK2a4Juhna6fPqIAouqnCKyqrY2uPq9stz64k7vtvJ-9Nr6nwAHAZsRYxPbGrsbYzRbPftNv1HzYvdl82mLawd3V42rkUeoY6-7vDu988B_zjfPd9IP2SPcy97n46_no_Ev-Cg==?accountName=Nerdicide&characterName=RighteousNerd I would actually be very interested to hear back from OP on thoughts for this build or anyone else that has some critiques. | |
" You lose 2 endurance charges PLUS you lose 0.8% regen per endurance charge due to Kaoms passive. So its actually a pretty big deal to ditch the kaoms. The main focus of the build and the reason to go Jug is for survivability. |
|
The juggernaut choice seems really good for survivalbility but the damage really seems to be lacking abit. I understand this is a HC intended build but for players in SC, would it justify to use doon instead of doryani or even drop the enfeeble curse for elemental weakness?
|
|
For Doon you need according strength until it's better than Doryani.
As for dropping the Kaom rings - the question was geared towards SC. So survivability is a bit less of an issue there. |

Just wanted to say thanks to the OP for this build, just finished completing the game on merc today with it and a single Kaom's Way ring. For HC there is no question in my mind that the synergies with Koam's Way and Jugg are amazing. For those asking about modifications for SC to get more damage, go for it, as there is no down side. For this build with it's purpose, it is incredible for hardcore. I still do not have a Kaom's heart but I am using a belly, two Kaom's way rings and sitting at 6800 health and feel pretty safe for most content so far. Thanks again for the completion, great build.

This build was pretty amazing. I got to level 89 on HC, but finally died :(. Definitely the most fun I have had playing this game. Thank you for putting it together!
