I think the life leech for slayer is not nearly as good as that of a berserker. Cloaked in Savagery is key to this build imho. It allows an instant full heal (as long as you do damage) after a savage hit and the leech for a slayer will be slower. Slayer may work better for trash but for bosses berserker is the better option and I prefer being stronger against bosses.

I have tried berserker, raider and slayer with this build and without berserker leech, it starts to struggle after tier 11-12. Also with slayer the build loses alot of dps because there is nothing close to berserkers 40% more damage (Aspect of Carnage).
Raider comes close though, with 7-8 Frenzy charges the dps is on par, movement speed is insane and with 65% Eva and 40/46 Dodge it's almost as "tanky" as berserker. I think if I was going to play shaped strand all day I would pick Raider

Had a Kaom's primacy as weapon and tried merc lab but died to Izaro. Found a primordial might jewel and sold it for a bunch of chaos which allowed me to buy a nagamahu and that made Izaro easier. Still only at 3.2k life and resistances around 40% :)
Now with 3 ascendancies clearing maps is so much faster. With the 3 ascendancies it really start to become fun!

I finally got to a point where I have both Kaom's Heart and Kaom's Roots equipped. Life is 7.6k which is very nice but now I don't have enough sockets for both Leap Slam + Faster Attacks + Fortify AND CWDT + Immortal Call + Increased Duration.

I like the mobility of Leap Slam.

Which Setup is more useful? Leap Slam or CWDT?

Also, which is better for our build? The Wise Oak or Lion's Roar?

If you manage to make your resists all equal then Wise Oak.

I agree that leap slam + faster attacks is almost mandatory. I noticed that quite often I need to jump into a group to get the damage (=leech) going. Especially on ranged mobs.

Maybe dump the fortify on leap slam and the increased duration on CDWT - IC?
