[2.6] IMMORTAL MF GOLEMS - Shaper / Uber / ALL Guardians *WHILE DEAD*



So what is better? A Flame golem Lvl21Q20 or lvl20Q23? Because if you just read on the gem. The Q23 gem have a higher damage number and higher life. Is it something else I am missing or why do people use the lvl 21 gem?

Golem gem lvl = ALOT more dps than 3% qual.

To be fair, if you look at the quality, you get "1% increased Minion Damage"/1% quality.

With levels, the damage breakpoints for levels are at 23 and 27 which provide "Golems Grant 21% & 22% Increased Damage" respectively, along with more health. Health Aside (which is 2% at lvl 21) and this build doesn't get lvl 23 golems from what I've seen although if you throw in Empower on your 6l I suppose you could.

I got a little off-track there, but are the levels better because the "Golems Grant 21% & 22% Increased Damage" vs "1% increased Minion Damage"/1% quality it buffs the other Golems? I don't quite understand myself.
I'm trying to find a confirmed source, but I remember reading somewhere that the level of the gem increases the level of the golem, which then increases the base power of its attacks. I THINK a L20 golem is mob-level 70 with base damage of 619–1547 and a L21 golem is mob-level 72 which has a base damage of 684–1710. If you take the average of these number you get a 11% MORE multiplier. If you get an empower 4 this is a 49% MORE compared to a level 20 golem. Added to this is a much larger base health pool.

The base dmge/hp increase of just one level FARRRR outweighs the benefit of 20% inc dmge
check the wiki page for flame golem and look at the bottom you will see what i mean.

i am following this build but have made some big adjustments to gear and tree to move away from MF and go full on dmge/ES to push to lvl 100 using +1/2 SOTL and lvl 4 emp.

scroll down, there's info on golems damage at the bottom of this page. What you're referring to is the buff that golems grant, not the golems damage.
I'm wondering if I'm supposed to be using 5 flame+ 1 lightning. The first page should be edited as there is conflicting posts.

I've got the 2 gems (lvl 21/20 and 20/23) and i can tell you 100% sure 21/20 give way more life/dmg than the 20/23...
Fun build and easy to level up. Is there a chance you could update the build guide ( mainly just the lvl 100 end tree ). The passives no longer open up. Im guessing passive path atm.
