[2.6] CI FrostBlades Raider/Pathfinder [Permafreeze T15 bosses, 4:17 Shaper Run, 1:49 Chayula timer]

Has anyone tried this build with HH yet? How often do you kill yourself to ele reflect? Just hit level 99 in LHC and I was thinking of saving up for a HH to speed things up / make the final grind more fun, but not if it means I'll one shot myself.

I'll aim for Taste of Hate. Never had one, and Legacy is probably 20% cheaper.

I'll finish the crit nodes and then head to Alchemist. It sounds like what I'm hearing is that flasks are a very big part of this build. Which is good to know, but truthfully I just love seeing big numbers in HO! :P

(PCoC + Shield Charge is only marginally better than BV so far. I think my crit chance is still a litle too low for reliability. Working on it!)

You're welcome! You can go for Claws of the Magpie after heartseeker then! Whichever floats your boat :p Alchemist can be grabbed later on if you want the big numbers in HO :p

You're welcome! Those are very very nice jewels, I would consider them to be BIS. If they were mine I'd divine them up to top rolls haha

If you're able to get a top claw your DPS will be very very hard to beat, seeing as the rest of your gear is already pretty much BIS!

Current gear

Not great gear (And I know I need to quality a few bits!). Was a mix of gear I had on hand and some cheapish stuff. Don't want to put too much into it until I get a proper helm - need to sell a bit of gear first. Also haven't got a taste of hate yet - next on the list.
At about 7.5k es I think (Can't remember exactly). With a better helm and an ES craft on at least one bit of jewellery should be able to hit 8.5ish.

I hit temp chains on the shaper's touch on second vaal (bricked my first!). Would have preferred ele weakness! So might try and sell those.

But again, still thought my damage might be a bit better already.

Since you're using incandescent heart and getting 4R isn't a problem, I'd suggest switching your links to 4R2G with the 2nd G being Hypothermia or Cold penetration. That will give you higher DPS. I'd also recommend having a level 1 cwdt setup with Frost Bomb to give you that extra bit of automatic DPS against tanky mobs with cold res. A taste of hate is a major major boost so I would suggest that be your #1 priority with regards to gear upgrades. Once you grab druidic rite you'll be able to have it permanently on while mapping. Gratz on the temp chains vaal! Should be able to fetch a pretty penny with poison still meta at the moment.

I think there are indeed a few with HH here! I don't yet have one so can't really comment on that. Gratz on the upgrades btw, your gear is looking very nice!

Also, if you want to be extra cautious about ele reflect you can probably 4L your helm and put a 4L ancestral warchief setup in it just for ele reflect rares.

would jaws of agony on quickswap be a better source of max power charges ? Right now i generate them just from assasins mark but it seems like jaws of agony with a cluster support or multipile traps would get you to max charges really fast.

warcry has a cooldown of 4 seconds and as i understand would get you two charges. with jaws of agony you could do a cluster+multitrap, throwing i believe 6 traps at once getting charges from 25% of them. you could easily throw a few sets of 6 within the 4 seconds it takes for a warcry to recharge and be max charges.

Shaper down on this character. Significantly harder than HoWA for similar investment (Almost failed an add phase - In retrospect, a Lion's Roar would make this extremely easy), but Fblades wins out on map clear by a lot. Ran 100 strands/atolls/gorges last night, very very smooth mapping with Inc Crit. I messed up one of the phase 3 timings, and accidentally shield charged into a slam, didn't survive it. Other than that, deathless. Forgot to switch HH out, so did it with a Bisco's/HH.

Headhunter is definitely a nice choice, and a life variant of this build would love it just because it works so well. Only real issue is, is that you might find yourself very tight on resists, or lower than expected and you might have to change up some gear, like dropping the Shaper gloves for some rares with triple resists. Not only that, but you lose out on all the ES that a Crystal Belt offers, too, if you're going ES.

BUT, if you're just wanting to map and level up, HH is definitely a great choice. It also makes Temp Chains maps something you WANT to run because the buffs you steal from rares last so much longer. A lot of people forget that. Also, if you come across the mobs that have the 'Increased Physical Damage' auras...oh your DPS will skyrocket for the time you have it.

That all said, I am almost to level 94 here and here is the gear that I currently have:



Still working my tree out right now, but once I do, I will give a final of that as well for what I have at 95.

Finally got my Skyforth today, really exited. Turns out tho, that being frozen suddenly became a problem for me. (I used Koam's Roots before). How do you manage that?

Yo. Help me out here pls. Where to go now? Im looking for 50int 600es shield with no res as i can gain enough from flasks. Also get gloves with ele weakness. Got 30ex to work with so with shield and gloves its almost gone.
Claws are just not there and with higher pdps it has worse crit and aps.
