So just for my own sanity, I am doing the HC variant. Getting to 1000 strength is no longer remotely part of the goal in this variant build, right?

If you are referring to the block variant then yes, you just want to get as much strength as you can, use a +2 bone helmet until you are over 300 strength and you are comfortable with your life/resists and then make the switch to the baron(even with 300-400 strength the baron is good). You really don't need the life leech with the block variant as your life regen + life gained on block is very good.

If you are referring to the normal guide with the HC adjustments(dual curse + unwavering stance) then just take away the 2 violent dead jewel nodes and you should be able to get 1000 strength at later levels.

Yeah I was meaning the block variant, as I want as much survival as possible! :D As a followup, why did you decide to do the jewel swaps in this variant? Are the +life +minion damage jewels that much better than any unique ones we used above? That is one part I don't really get honestly, since it seemed like the unique jewels gave a lot of survival as well?

EDIT: As a random question that's been bugging me, why do you get Death Attunement if we are not using Spectres? Is the attack/cast speed that worth it?

Life+resist jewels are just safer and they make it easier to overcap for ele weakness. You are free to use whichever jewels you like, efficient training are good by the int jewel nodes but violent dead are not worth using.

The block variant was made as it works really well on a low budget and is very safe, I usually transition into my other build when I gain enough currency. The block variant used to be a lot more powerful with poison double dipping but we now use the baron + bisco's leash to increase damage.

As for Death Attunement, yes 100% it is worth the point for attack speed alone.
Hi, i have some questions, please help
Is there big differense between Vulnerability and Elemental Weakness?

Right now i'm in 4l srs (srs-minion dmg-melee physical/splash-spell echo), trying to get my hands on The Baron helmet and rolling 5l covenant. Can I still use Vulnerability (18lvl) or need to switch to Eleweakness (16lvl)?

Also, is half of damage, added by melee physical support also converted to fire? Or its added as pure physical? And how cold bonus of Hatred works with it?

Ele weakness is better all round as it adds more damage to your SRS and Zombies, vulnerability gives more damage than ele weakness to zombies but not as much for SRS. So in short use ele weakness as we no longer use poison to take full advantage of vulnerability.

Hatred scales with all of your minion damage and physical damage increases with baron etc, so as both your minions are mainly physical damage based hatred scales very nicely.
I can buy empower 4, do you think it's better than additional accuracy ? (have a 6L covenant)

Thanks a lot! Its my first poe character and i'm already having lots of fun, this build is easy to play and very efrfective!
Can anyone take a look at my character and tell me what i'm missing? I'm seriously squishy right now. taking 1 shots sometimes on t6 bosses

Zyphrexi https://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/Zyphrexi/characters?characterName=Zyphrexi

if i switch to my 4L covenant, it's game over. Haven't been able to 5L or 6L covenant, and it makes things rather difficult. I die enough that it's very difficult to level up, so any advice would be appreciated

I DO have better gloves with 43 fire, 43 cold, and 32 lightning res, but lack the dex to equip.

The weak point of this build is bosses. Zommbie dies quicly
Hi.
How can you have additional mod crafted on gloves when you have already 6? I have exactly same mods affixes on same gloves like yours and I don't have option to add minion dmg.
I would like to thank you for posting this. This is my first time trying POE, so my husband showed me this post and I followed it almost to the T. My only issue is i like having a million health potions because i dont like my zombies to die (they rarely die unless i get a 30% physical reflect mod), keeping pets alive is a hard habit to break from other games.. lol

I can do all of the labs and baby atrazi, haven't tried the other content yet. I have little problem with maps of all levels, mostly I only die if i dont move out of the way of something nasty.

If you just stay behind your tank wall of zombies, everything usually works out ok.

This build really got me introduced and loving to play POE in a very painless way. Very easy to manage for a first timer. The baron was f-ing expensive, but it gave me a goal.

MY question is i have an empower lvl2 gem. I am trying it out with my SRS. Should i be using this in my SRS 6L or what 6 skills are the best? I see the original build had the accuracy gem in there as the 6th gem.
