Nothing directly but buying [ridiculously OP item of the month] with mtx would effectively be buying it with real money which is considered "pay to win".

I know what does it mean P2W, but in this game, i did not saw any P2W stuff in cash shop at all. So i cannot see the prob why ppls could not gift away costumes, skill cosmetics etc.

Dunno who know the game called ArcheAge. It is free to play game, but u can pay for beeing premium member. monthly payment. Around 10-15 Euro / month, but there is an option to buy special item from the game on website ofc for real money, and then u can sell it in game. That item is only used to get in game cash to be able to buy stuffs from cash shop. That item called Apex. U can buy premium membership with 2 apex. Ppls the P2W ppls, spent a lot money to buy those to sell in game to buy or make better gear. I can do not say this is good idea, cause in one point this game is realy about how much $ u paied for it. More $ u spent on game, more gold u got, and a better set u have. But it is still not grantie that. A friend of mine with crap quest gear beat other ppls with OP crafted gear who paied a lot for the game. It was more like how good u are in PVP. Now it is more like, how much u paid for it. A Famous korean streamer show this. He was fully cash shop in PVP and he was standing still while the oponent non stop was atacking him with nearly no dmg on him. -,- When he got bored on it, he killed that guy with 2 hit... No fun in that game at thise days if u are not super rich.

Still saying POE is not P2W. :)

P.S.: i would spend more money on cash shop pets if i will see a pickup pet (Sry bit lazy :) ), instead of a useles pet for expensive price. When i play with my friend together i always try to jump on his pets, cause i think it is a stupid mob to kill :'( Then i realise it is his new pet... QQ

I was think the subject was about POE is alredy a p2w. BTW i could pay materials for geting a sweet costume, or skill costume too. :P
Forgive me, liveing in a sh1tie country, where 30-40$ worth something, not like a breakfast in many richer country. In stream Ziggy also talk a bit about that, where X amount of $ in 1 country player worth a breakfast while the same amoun for other player, is like a week payment in his/her job.

Those ppls can not afford to pay 30-40$+ just for a single costume, or 10$ for a skill cosmetic.

At the past i had costumes on all of my char in every game from cash shop, but now... After several year i changed my mind and not spending that much money on games anymore. I just keep the minimum investment example extra stash and the most used skill cosmetics.

And for the subject, ppls who wana get handicap start with $ invest, they do trust me. Just type on google the few magic word, like "poe gold seller" and u will have a lot link... :D
All who wana go on easy way, they will, no matter if it is legal or illegal, they do, they always did and will always do. That is the fact, and u can not change it at all.

If u know a game called Black Desert, the game owners made good job to block thise players, for thise transactions. No trade, no mailbox nothing. Even in AH the items have Fix prices for each items, like XY sword cost minimum 1 gold and maximum 3. U can not put ur XY sword in AH less then 1 or more then 3. Only way to buy gold is give away your account to someone who will farm gold while u at work or sleep. Super risky and easy to find. ;-)

This game is not P2W and i think it never will. If someone buy currency in this game... Hum, i bet only those ppls will who have no time for play and they wana enjoy that tiny time, what they can spend on gameplay. If u play 1-2 hrs / day, u will have enough currency to buy whatever u want in game (gear).
