Hey, I'm having a kind of hard time understanding the APS chart for Cyclone.

Basically, without any CDR, is there a point at which I should stop getting Attackspeed (from Faster Attack Support e.g.), or should I keep racking up AS? Currently at 0.26 AS for Cyclone, with 0 CDR.

Read FAQ section in the guide. Thank you :)

Tested Arcane Surge

It works!*

*Every time except the first cast after weapon switch.

So, switch to Immortal Call-Arcane Surge setup, use Immortal Call, get hit couple of times to trigger your stuff and gain max-ish endurance charges, use Immortal Call again, and you have old duration buff. It's not alternate casts, only the first cast after weapon switch doesn't work.

Thanks for the info, i was ready to stop the setup.
For those like me who could catch a "Scold's Bridle", instead going through ennemies to get some Endurance Charge, you can spend mana with a low mana channeling skill like Lightning Tendrils for getting damage from the Helm and procing the Ascendent passive without procing the auto cast Immortal Call that would consume every Endurance Charge.
So to retake what was said :

1) Switch to the setup
2) Use Immortal Call without EC
3) Get your EC Max with a low mana channel skill
4) Re-use Immortall Call
5) Re-switch

I’m a little confused on the chest. Are we ideally using a 6 link? I see yours is 5 link in the OP

Am I completely missing a step? How are we reaching our dexterity and intelligence requirements? I'm sitting here with gloves/helm and weapon I can't equip
6 Link is not required for the build however its nice to have down the road but is a low priorty, the 6th link is going to be either Culling Strike or Additional Accuracy, neither of which is omg game-breaking to your day to day activity.

To the other question if you use Devoto's Devotion you will have no issues with DEX for lv20 gems, however if you use Scolds you will be a little short, an easy solution is the 30point DEX node in the skill tree, I suggest that b/c you typically want to use your spare ring slot for INT b/c you typically need more of that.

A clean Voll's Devotion will give you an extra 24 INT however they tend to run 7-8ex on abyss so you usually have to go with a tier 1 INT ring, 51-55 unless you use jewel lines for INT which is not recommended, you can get 28% spell damage and 10% all resists on a jewel, 10INT on one is a waste of a spot.
Devoto's gives you DEX, but you need DEX to equip it first, so temporarily equip an item that boosts your DEX.
Also Inya's boots increases total int by 6-8% depending on the roll.

Finally got the belt ive been after on abyss, t1 str/life/armor only, leaving room for multiple mod and move speed plus a resist of my choosing.

They are so OP with sick jewels, atm im using t1 life/armor/cold dmg jewel but ive seen amazing ones for sale, they are just pricey. My favorite so far has been 50Life 140Armor 1% of life regenerated while moving and 10% chance to avoid bleeding, it was 3ex though and was saving for this waist at the time.
Nice belt. But even "decent" ones are kinda good to use with proper jewel.

Regarding the Arcane Surge Setup /w Devoto's:

I found a way to trigger Arcane Surge without the need of getting hit or being close to enemies.
This takes into account that at the moment we have to use Immortal Call twice before we get the Arcane Surge buff.

Things you need:
-Brinerot Flag Shield (This gives us 2 Power Charges when we use a warcry!)
-Any one handed weapon

Both go into your secondary weapon slot.

Links:
Shield:
Arcane Surge - Immortal Call - Increased Duration (all gems 20% quality)

Weapon:
Discharge - Warcry - Faster Casting Support

The mechanic:
You swap to this from your primary weapon slot -> use Immortal Call (nothing happens, cause Arcane Surge is bugged atm) -> use the warcry (you get 2 Power Charges) -> use Discharge to consume the 2 Power Charges (this gives us at least 2 Endurance Charges because of Volls Devotion, at best max charges because of our Ascendancy) -> use Immortal Call again and VOILA!
You got the Arcane Surge buff :)

Pros:
-No need to get hit by enemies or be close to them whatsoever.
-This input sequence is pretty fast, not much time lost

Cons:
-We only have a 25% chance to get max Endurance Charges after using Discharge, so the Arcane Surge buff will only last around 16 seconds, for just 2 Charges

Disclaimer:
How far you can level your Immortal Call depends on the mana you have left with the 3 Auras (Enlighten lvl 4 helps obviously). The higher your IC the better, cause the longer the buff duration.
